I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Political Science at the University of Zurich. I earned my PhD in Economic from CERNA in École des Mines Paris and CREST in École polytechnique.
I am also affiliated to the Digital Democracy initiative.
My research sits at the crossroads of Political Economy and Computational Social Science, with a particular emphasis on European Studies.
Methods – I am developing new AI techniques for social scientists working with unstructured data such as texts, images, audio, and video.
Applications – Empirically, I rely on machine learning algorithms and social media data to investigate two central questions:
How institutional design shapes social norms and behaviors.
How political ideologies emerge and evolve over time.
In parallel, I am working for DemoSquare, an online platform for automating the monitoring and the analysis of legal and political data with machine learning.
