We do not collect personal information or create user profiles.
Your coloring pages, finished artwork, and settings are stored only on your device.
To create a page, the text and (when colorizing) the line-art image are sent to our AI provider, Replicate, to generate the result. We do not store these on our own servers.
The app is rated 4+ and is not directed at collecting data from anyone, including children.
Information you create. Coloring pages you generate, the prompts and options you choose (style, artist level, optional idea or custom style description), and finished colored artwork. This content is stored on your device.
AI generation requests. When you create a custom page, the text prompt you supply is sent to our AI provider to generate line art. When the app produces a full-color reference for a page, the black-and-white line-art image is also sent to the provider so it can be colorized. These requests are made directly from your device to the provider over an encrypted connection.
Photos (optional). If you keep "Save finished pages to Photos" enabled, colored images you choose to save are written to your device's photo library. The app only adds images; it does not read or browse your photo library.
Information we do not collect. No name, email, account, contacts, location, device identifiers for tracking, or analytics. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Our AI provider (sub-processor)
Hueline uses Replicate, Inc. to run the AI models that generate line art and color references. The prompt text and, for colorization, the line-art image are processed by Replicate to return a generated image. We do not store your prompts or generated images on our own servers. Replicate may retain prediction inputs and outputs temporarily according to its own policies. We do not share your information with any other third parties.
On-device storage and your control
Your pages, finished artwork, settings, and caches live on your device only. You are in control of this data at all times:
Delete a single page from the My Pages screen.
Clear everything with Settings → Clear all data, which immediately deletes your pages, saved image files, and caches from the device.
Uninstalling the app removes all app data stored on your device.
Images you saved to Photos remain in your photo library until you delete them there.
We retain no personal data on our servers, because we do not collect any. Content you create is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Any retention of request data by Replicate is governed by Replicate's own policy linked above.
Requests to our AI provider are sent over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Because your content stays on your device and we operate no accounts or servers that store your data, the attack surface for your personal information is minimal. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we design the app to keep data on-device wherever possible.
Hueline is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It is not directed at children for the purpose of collecting personal information, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). The app has a lightweight on-device safety filter that blocks obviously inappropriate prompt text so generated content stays friendly. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it — though, by design, the app does not transmit such information to us.
International users and data transfers
The app can be used worldwide. When the app contacts our AI provider, your request may be processed on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using the AI generation features, you understand that the prompt (and, for colorization, the line-art image) will be transferred to and processed by the provider for that purpose.
Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA & other US state laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not collect or store personal data:
There is no personal profile for us to access, export, or correct.
Deletion of your on-device content is immediate and entirely under your control via "Clear all data" or by uninstalling the app.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. If you have a question or a rights request, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
