Hudson Valley Wood Turners (HVWT) is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. HVWT is based in Northern Bergen County New Jersey near the Rockland County New York border. At each meeting a wood turning skill is demonstrated and attendees are given the opportunity to apply the lesson to a new project when time permits.

Membership in Hudson Valley Wood Turners is open to people of all ages interested in wood turning. No prior experience in turning is necessary. Visitors are always welcome at the meetings. Meetings are typically held the third Thursday of the month (September through June) at 7:00 PM in the evening at the Education Building of Ramapo Reformed Church, 100 Island Road, Mahwah NJ (at the Ramapo Avenue exit of Route 17)
