SAFAR: A Journey into Qur’an & Fiqh
A Late-Evening Learning Programme for Teenage Boys (15+) & Adults
Safar is a unique initiative designed to support teenage boys and young men at a stage when Islamic learning often pauses — just when it is most needed. After madressah ends, many young brothers lose consistency, find fewer opportunities to learn, or feel overwhelmed by heavy study schedules and the demands of sixth form, university, and early work life.
Safar fills that gap.
It offers a calm, relaxed, late-evening space to continue your Islamic journey through two structured weekly sessions: Essential Fiqh and Qur'an. The programme is intentionally designed to be light, meaningful, and engaging — not intense or burdensome — so students can comfortably balance their academic and career commitments with their spiritual growth.
⚖️ TUESDAYS — Fiqh with MoULANA oMAR GANCHI
A practical, discussion-based exploration of Hanafi jurisprudence, taught by Moulana Omar Ganchi.
These sessions focus on contemporary issues that young men face today — from navigating school and university environments, to workplace ethics, finance, responsibilities, and social conduct.
The aim is simple:
To show how the timeless principles of classical fiqh guide the modern Muslim in real life.
📘 WEDNESDAYS — Qur’an with Qari yusuf Haffejee
A weekly opportunity to reconnect with the Qur’an in a warm, supportive environment.
Qari Yusuf Hafejee leads the recitation sessions, helping students strengthen fluency, clarity, and confidence.
Open to all abilities, this class creates consistency, brotherhood, and a deeper attachment to the Book of Allah.
