EMUI comes with a lot of features for calling but its call recorder capability is not available for all Huawei smartphones but we have a solution for users who want to record calls on EMUI 12 and EMUI 13 devices.

The auto call recorder that worked for EMUI 9, 10, 11 and 12 is now broken in EMUI 13. It still says that it records when calling someone and it also notifies you about the recording after you finish a call, but when you click on the notification, go into the recorder app or look for the file in the files app, it is nowhere to be found.

Got a Huawei P30 Pro ( VOG-L29 ), I what to have the ability to record phone calls. Been looking for guides online and found a few, ie. this one -p30-pro-how-record-calls/ , but it since I have a EU region version of the P30 Pro this built in feature in EMUI seems to be removed :(

I have always had a call recorder installed on all my phones since it can be invaluable to record the call if you talk to a company support etc. However since I got my Huawei 30 pro and installed the Call Recorder app it has not worked, I have also tried another app but still it does not record properly. Do anyone know why and a solution/working call recorder app with this phone?

Now Huawei P9, P9 Plus, P9 Lite, Mate 8, Mate 7, Mate S, P8, P8 Max, P8 Lite, P7, P6, G8, G7, Honor 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 etc work great, recorded calls are crystal clear in two sides, even with the latest ROM. So far this is the only solution in the market that really works, no root needed.

How can I share my records?

=> Please open the Call List screen, click the green icon, select one or several calls, click the Share icon to share them. You can share them with Email, if you have an Email app working in your phone. You can share them with Whatsapp, if you have installed Whatsapp. You can share them with any app in your phone, if that app can share files.

Where they are recorded?

=> Please check the "App Settings - Clip Saving Folder" option in the app to see the folder in which your calls are saved. You can change the folder if you want, just click and select.

It sounds as though a good number of people have managed to overcome the call recording problem by following the steps to boot using a Thai SIM before switching back to your normal SIM - posted by Ryan23 previously on this thread.

Should you be be considering getting a non-samsung phone I would certainly advise against buying anything connected with Google (who own Android) since it is they who are behind this change in your ability to continue to use your phone in the perfectly reasonable activity of recording your phone calls.

Huawei and Honor's Android smartphones have become more and more advanced but, it seems, they've left behind some very simple yet useful functions. The built-in call recording app is one of them. On this basis, users have to look for alternative ways for recording a call.

If the first two ways don't interest you, you can always use third-party applications to record conversations. The REKK app is now of the most popular recording apps, and it allows users to record and save their phone calls for future reference. The app is available for download on a wide range of smartphones, including Huawei and Honor devices.

Regarding recording calls, the law requires one-party consent. It means that at least one of the two people involved in the conversation must be aware that the call is being recorded. In other words, you can record a call in which you are participating, but you can not record a call between two other people.

While call recording is not allowed legally in some parts of the world, Huawei ships the P30 series with the option enabled across all the regions where it sells the phones. If you are looking to record calls on the Huawei P30 Pro, the regular P30, or the P30 Lite, follow the steps below.

Step 2: Go to Auto-record calls, enable the option. Under Auto-record settings, you will see two options: record all incoming/outgoing calls or only record calls from listed numbers. Depending on your preference, make a choice.

To access any of the recorded calls, open the Phone/Dialer app, tap the 3-dot overflow menu button and select the Call recordings option. All the recorded calls stored on your Huawei P30 will be displayed here. Do note that if you have the Chinese variant of the Huawei P30/Pro then the call recording might not be available on your unit. This is a regional restriction and there is no way to bypass it.

Call recording is often associated with risky business but it can also be very useful, so much so that Google might be adding it the future versions of Android. It comes in handy when you wish to ensure that you don't miss vital details during an interview or a business call without having to jot down tiniest of the details manually. Of course, it can also become essential when you have to deal with an uncooperative customer support staff or someone threatening you. While there are plenty of call recording apps for Android devices, many smartphone manufacturers are increasingly adding a native feature to help users record call easily. The feature comes pre-installed on the Huawei P30 Pro which runs on EMUI 9.1, depending on your region.

If you're using any other Huawei or Honor smartphone running EMUI 9, you can add the call recording feature by installing an APK. To get this working, you neither need to authorize your smartphone with ADB nor root it - just ensure that it runs on at least EMUI 9 based on Android Pie and install the APK just like any other. The APK should be perfectly safe considering it's pulled from EMUI 9 itself; in fact, the app resides in /cust/app but is disabled by default in many regions.

Note 1: Call recording laws vary in different states of the U.S. such that you might be required to inform the other person when you're taping the call. To make sure you don't land into any legal trouble, check the laws in your state before you use the feature.

In order to enable phone calls, I run the following commands: AT+CLIP=1, AT+CRC=1, AT+CNMI=1,2 on /dev/ttyUSB0.Also, if I run AT^CVOICE? I get ^CVOICE:0,8000,16,20.Finally, when I make/receive calls, I run AT^DDSETEX=2 on /dev/ttyUSB0 to enable audio forward to the /dev/ttyUSB1 port.

I know there are other similar posts trying to redirect microphone input and speakers output to the dongle, but my aim is to save the conversation to file (during a call, I tried to run cat /dev/ttyUSB1 > filename.raw, but the file can't be opened with standard software, hence, how can I convert it?) and, simultaneously, to send voice from file (which format? I tried to send back the filename.raw to /dev/ttyUSB1 with cat filename.raw > /dev/ttyUSB1, but the entire system gets freezed).

I'm also stuck trying to get audio from a huawei E153.. if I use the 'Huawei Mobile Partner' software. I can use the pc sound to hear and talk during a voice call, so I know it is possible for sure. I read that someone could manage to get the sound form a Huawei Mobile modem in ubuntu, take a look here:

You could use Asterisk with chan_dongle to manage calls/messages on Huawei GSM Modems. From there on you should be able to do whatever you want via Asterisk instead of using virtualphone. There seems to be an asterisk telegram gateway and asterisk native voicemail support as also call recording is possible.

Being able to record phone calls is really useful -- especially when you need to take notes and don't have a pen and pencil handy. Lucky for Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro owners, they've just gained this functionality. XDA Senior Member badmania98 came up with a step-by-step guide that shows how to activate it. The process involves downloading a file attachment from the XDA forum thread, transferring it to a specific location on the Huawei Mate 10/Mate 10 Pro's internal storage, and giving it proper file permissions. If all goes according to plan, you'll get new options for automatic call recording tucked away within the phone application's settings.

Verba Unified Recorder has SIPREC implementation and is responsible for recording calls via this new interface/standard. It detects proprietary vendor-specific extensions in the SIPREC CDR xmls automatically, no vendor-specific configuration is needed at Verba side.

Call Recorder is one of the finest free call recorder apps for Android devices on the market. It works both with incoming and outgoing calls in automatic mode. You can skip recording of any call you want via choosing what calls will be recorded and what will be ignored as well. Tabled soft allows listening, saving, sharing and deleting audio files you have done.

There are several ways to record a phone call on Android. The easiest and most trusted method is to use the build-in-call recording feature. Several manufacturers, such as Xiaomi, Huawei have a call recording button on their call dialer app.

One big downside is that the feature is only available on select phones in certain regions. Another issue with the phone call recording app is that it informs the recipient that their call will be recorded. This can be a problem for people who want to record calls without letting the other person know.

Once you have set up the app, the calls (incoming or outgoing) will automatically be recorded. You can further listen, edit, share, edit numbers, or perform more tasks with the available call recordings. You can even transcribe calls, add notes, or back up recordings on the supported Cloud storage services. ff782bc1db
