My website has been moved here.
Welcome to my site! I'm a scientific researcher with a background in social psychology and psycholinguistics.
My research covers these topics:
Sex difference
Gender inequality
Evolution
Language
In several lines of research, I try to answer these questions:
How can we explain the persisting gender gap in social power and status? Is it a consequence of social structural features and socialization processes? Or should we see the gender gap as an expression of evolved sex differences in e.g., perceptions of power and status, life goals, and value structures?
We use language to do lots of things, for example, to communicate information, to attract attention, and to influence decision-making. Language can also bias our perceptions and decision-making. How should we reduce language-induced biases in decision-making, especially in the workplace?
Aside from doing research, I spend my time hiking in the Himalayas and the Alps. I also enjoy practicing House dance, Soul dance, and yoga.
