Is there any way in java to make code: Example if someone clicks on skipAd on adf.ly link Int will increase. Example 2: I click the button, it will take me to a adfly link. and when i click skipAd on adf.ly: in the app int will increase for 1(int++).Is there any way to do that?

So I go to the Minecraftforum topic page for the mod (because these two mods arn't hosting their mods on CurseForge, I'll get back to that later), and I click on the adf.ly links to download the mods.

Now, I'm no Lawyer, and I've never gone to Law School, however, I do believe that putting links to your mods through adf.ly and other like services that give you a payout for ad impressions would fall under "trying to make money from" the mods.

This still technically violates the MINECRAFT END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT for "trying to make money from" mods made for Minecraft. But this does solve the issue with Minecraft Mod users, like myself, becoming irritated with fly-by malware advertisements that wind up on sites like adf.ly.

Again I agree that there are better ways for modders to be reimbursed for their efforts than adf.ly (and other such sites) it is still well within their rights to use. But your "call to action" is flawed as you are not required in any way shape or form to download or use a mod that is behind an adf.ly link. The modder may have compromised their mod by using adf.ly but it was still YOU who chose to download from that link and YOU have to deal with whatever may come of it.

Recently it seems that despite having pop up blockers installed on my PC for use with chrome, my PC has become infected with some kind of adware installed on my PC called adf.ly. It periodically and randomly opens up a pop up in my chrome browser upon restarting the PC or waking it up from sleep and logging in. I did see some forum on this from a few years ago but I am running Windows 10 education OS which is different so the procedure for removing it may also be different. I also have a premium subscription for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware but a scan does not pick this up. I would appreciate it if you could assist me with hunting this down and removing it from my laptop.

Ok well I will capture a screenshot then of the next time a chrome browser opens on its own, with a destination url lying within the adf.ly domain. Probably you can see no infection because my popup blockers block it from executing, but I have something on my laptop that is trying to execute itself it seems, even if it is being blocked every time, I would like to remove the file that is attempting to execute.

But this isn't a redirect. This opens a chrome browser where no chrome browser was open before and is attempting to reach the adf.ly url. This is not normal or wanted behavior and something is causing it.

I try to download something that uses adf.ly to work, and it says there's an ad blocker browser extension enabled. I look through my add-ons in Firefox and there's nothing in Extensions or Add-ons that is anything close to an ad blocker. After poking around, I found that Firefox was updated with a built-in ad blocker. Is this true, and how do I fix it?

I've recently come across a site while downloading some mods and plugins, and it's extremely similar to adf.ly. Cosmetically, the main difference is that the top bar is white. Where it really seems to shine is that it generates 13x the amount of revenue that adf.ly does.

If this website is for real, I'd very much like to see Forge's adf.ly links switch over to these ones, or perhaps add an option for it. I'm against not supporting the creators, and I'd like to show as much support as I can per download. As I'm sure many of us here at the forums would.

Actually Lex if you wanted something better a custom page with Google AdSense ads gives me better return than I had with Adf.ly (a bit better, not massively so), and AdSense doesn't show dodgy ads like adf.ly sometime does.

Originally I thought it was the website doing it. But I was using my Encrypted bank account and I got redirected to an adf.ly advertisement. I'm guessing its a Chrome extension that might be causing it or its Chrome itself. Does anyone know the best way to prevent this? I installed a couple extensions but I would rather uninstall whatever extension might be causing this, or stop using Chrome all together.

YES! I really liked that version and contacted him about a clone more like adf.ly! ^.^ we are currently talking and hopefully working something out. But in the meantime maybe someone has an already finished on or example of what they could make ect. :]

Is adfly a scam? I do not believe adfly itself is a scam. However, adf.ly is a payment service and link middleman that is used by pirates on forums to earn money from linking to bad files. There are also programmers who make software to manipulate adf.ly to generate false positives so they get paid. I do not believe adfly is complicit in this action. I believe Adf.ly is not a scam, but I would not use it again.

adf.ly is a legitimate website that provides a URL-shortening service. This website pays registered users for sharing shortened links, since visitors are presented with a five-second advertisement prior to being given access the chosen website.

Browser notifications are often used to promote adult dating, pornography, survey, gambling, and other dubious websites that might contain malicious content. Therefore, clicking them can lead to system infection. In summary, adf.ly is a legitimate website, yet its promoted content might be harmful.

There are many legitimate websites monetized using advertising networks (e.g., zippyshare.com) and they share many similarities with adf.ly. Again, these sites are generally harmless and provide useful services, however, users might encounter ads that redirect to other websites that are not trustworthy. 17dc91bb1f
