We at The @ Company love the internet! We also believe that it is high time someone changed the way it works today. The internet should come to you instead of you being forced to log into websites and apps over and over again. We strongly believe that we as people, should be able to choose whom we share our data, and for how long. So, we took matters into our own hands and launched the @platform - a new free and open-source platform with an SDK to support developers building applications to bring our vision to life. People who use these apps will have their own unique keys to their data on this new internet where privacy is not an option but a default.

From a developer perspective, with the @platform you no longer have to worry about databases and handling and securing data - it is all taken care of by the @platform. And, the @platform allows you to get your app live 40-50% faster.

1. A great app idea that you think can make a difference on the internet

2. Passion to build on that idea and have a roadmap

3. Design concepts + UI for how the app with come to life

4. Use of the @platform and an understanding of how that will make a difference to the app

5. Bonus :

   1. Working code in Flutter

   2. Working code using the @platform

At The @ Company, we’re flipping the internet upside down with our brand new, open-source internet protocol and platform (the @platform). The @platform enables developers to build apps that are surveillance-free and private by design. People using these apps are able to own and control their own data and enjoy totally new online experiences. @platform apps don’t require people to create accounts with usernames and passwords in order to use them. Instead, people create one unique identifier, called an @sign, and use it across the entire app ecosystem.
