Hsin-Yuan Huang 黃信元
I am a professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at National Yang Ming Chiao-Tung University(國立陽明交通大學). I received a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from National Taiwan University in 2001 and 2003, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Minnesota in 2011. I was a visiting assistant professor in Department of Mathematics at National Taiwan University from 2011 to 2012 and an assistant professor in National Sun Yat-sen University from 2012 to 2016. My research interests are around two broad topics: the analysis of nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations arising from gauge theory and the variational method on the Newtonian N-body problem.

Outside of Mathematics, I like to play rugby. Since December 2021, I start to practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
