我們研究病原體如何演化、傳播,以及這些過程如何與人類免疫反應相互影響。我們結合基因體學、生物資訊、統計分析與數學模型,並整合流行病學、血清學與人群移動資料,了解病原體的傳播與演化歷史及影響疫情發展的重要機制,希望為公共衛生政策提供有用的科學見解。
我們重視邏輯思考與扎實的研究訓練,帶領學生學習如何閱讀文獻、提出問題、分析資料與呈現研究成果。歡迎對資料分析、基因體學、生物資訊、流行病學或傳染病研究有興趣的同學加入我們!
Our lab studies how pathogens evolve and spread, and how these processes interact with human immune responses. We combine genomics, bioinformatics, statistics, and mathematical modeling with epidemiological, serological, and human mobility data to understand pathogen transmission and evolutionary histories as well as the mechanisms shaping infectious disease dynamics.
We value logical thinking and rigorous research training, and aim to guide students in learning how to read the literature, ask scientific questions, analyze data, and communicate research clearly. Students interested in data analysis, genomics, bioinformatics, epidemiology, or pathogen research are welcome to join us!
