From the earliest pages of Scripture to the final vision of Revelation, one theme remains constant: humanity longs for justice, but God alone executes perfect judgment. This tension shows up everywhere: in global conflict, political division, social justice movements, and even in our personal relationships.
Human justice is often reactive, emotional, and limited by perspective. God’s judgment, by contrast, is rooted in perfect holiness, complete knowledge, and eternal purpose. The danger for Christians is not just misunderstanding God’s judgment but replacing it with our own.
Much like the Nicene Creed was formed to unify believers around truth and guard against error, this topic challenges us to realign our understanding of justice with God’s revealed character rather than cultural instincts or personal bias.
