This document outlines how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our app. It also explains the choices available to you regarding your data.

Permissions

To provide its features, the app uses the following permissions:

CAMERA – to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera images are processed on your device and are never stored or uploaded.
VIBRATE – to give feedback after a successful scan.
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – to show ads, process purchases and send anonymous usage and crash reports.
AD_ID – used by Google AdMob to show and measure ads.
BILLING – to process optional Premium purchases through Google Play.

The app does not access your contacts, location, microphone, messages or files. When you scan a code from an image, only the image you pick is read, and it is not kept.

Data Collection

The app does not require an account. Your scan and create history and your settings are stored only on your device. You can delete them at any time in the app or by uninstalling it.
Should we intend to use your information for purposes other than those originally stated, we will first seek your explicit approval.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following services, which may collect information such as the advertising ID and other device identifiers, IP address, device model and Android version, app interactions and crash data, as described in their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob – ads
Google Analytics for Firebase – app usage statistics
Firebase Crashlytics – crash reports
Google Play Billing – purchases (we only receive the purchase status, never your payment details)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the content of the codes you scan or create.

Advertising

Ads in the free version are served by Google AdMob, which may use the advertising ID, cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings. Premium users do not see ads.

Sharing of Information

In the event of a company merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal information may be part of the transferred assets. We will take appropriate steps to protect your privacy and will notify you before your data is governed by a different privacy policy.

Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. We implement reasonable and industry-standard security practices to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.
We are committed to keeping your information safe and secure.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your history and settings are kept on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall it. Usage and crash data are kept by Google Firebase for a limited period according to its retention settings, and advertising data is kept according to Google's policies.
You can delete data linked to your advertising ID by resetting or deleting it in your device settings. For any other request to access or delete your data, please contact us.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Please be aware that this Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
We will not make any changes that lessen your rights without your prior consent.
All updates will be published on this page, and in the case of major revisions, you may receive a more visible notice or direct communication.
