If you would like to print or make copies in the library, you can purchase an eprint card. There is a card dispenser on the main floor of Perkins Library. The machine accepts $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills (no coins).

Epson Scanner: located near the circulation desk, the Epson flatbed scanner is a better choice for scanning individual pages or sheets of paper. IMPORTANT: Follow the instructions on the yellow sheet to ensure that your document is scanned properly with the correct settings.

Have a smart phone? Depending on your needs, there are a number of free or cheap apps for Apple and Android phones that will allow you to use your phone's camera as a mini document scanner. See the Mobile Apps page for more details.

In order to print copies, you will need to add money to an eprint card from Perkins Library, or to your Duke FLEX account. Duke FLEX can be used for printing, Duke dining, vending machines, and more -- but it is different from the ePrint money loaded onto Duke students' ID cards.

Microfilm and microfiche readers/scanners are available at the Main Library in the Magazines and Newspapers Center. Scanned images may be saved to a USB drive or saved via email message. No appointment is necessary to use the reader/scanners, and staff are available to assist.

Here is the issue. I have set up a printer that they want invoices sent to directly and printed, figured they already have an HP so why not set it up. I set it up with a custom eprint address and all was fine. Now they want me to have the email be a local one we can manage just in case this solution does not work we can still utilize our internal address without having to inform them of new way to submit.

Here is where it gets fun. Now I am trying to get the internal address to send to the eprint address. PERFECT I WILL FORWARD!!! Nope! it looks for the address in the cc or to fields and forwarding still sends original invoices@losingmymind.com. Oh well next attempt was to set an event to add recipient, nope it adds to bcc. Set up event to send email, YES IT WORKS!! Oh wait it only send an alert so the print out lets us know there is an email sent to that address with an attachment.

The Divinity Library has several computer stations and scanners available for students to use. Also, please feel free to consider making a scan from your mobile device: the Notes app on your iPhone or iPad has an integrated scanner; we also recommend Genius Scanner or Adobe Scan.

Use our professional flatbed scanners at Goldendale or Ridgefield Community Libraries to scan any photo or document up to 12"x17" at no charge. We also have negative and slide inserts so you can scan any transparent item. Please bring a USB thumb drive to store your digital files. The scanners are available Monday through Friday by appointment. Please call Goldendale Community Library at 360-906-5000 or Ridgefield Community Library at 360-906-4772 to reserve a time slot.

I am curious: how did you get the "Scan to evernote" via email to work? I bought an Officejet 6600 recently, and I'm trying to get this to work. I've added the evernote email address to the eprint Scan-to-mail app. Eprint sent me an confirmation code, which I received in Evernote correctly. But scanned documents aren't received in Evernote, they just don't arrive... Scanning to my normal email address workt fine, though, and forwarding mails to evernote works as well... But direct mail from eprint to evernote just doesn't arrive.....

I am facing the same challenges as Carmiel even though mine is worse! I just don't seem to receive the activation code/PIN sent from HP Scan to email app to Evernote which will enable me to fully activate direct scanning to Evernote. I have searched my inbox severally to no avail. I have also fiddled endlessly in my account page in HP eprinter website. I need urgent help about this important step. Cheers

The ePrint Distributed Printing System allows you to print a job again without running back to your computer. After you retrieve your job at a print station, the job goes back into the print queue for 15 minutes. If you need to reprint the job within that timeframe, just swipe your DukeCard at any station and choose the job out of the list of available jobs in your print queue.

Self-service scanning is free for all users. Flatbed scanners are available in the Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library, the Charles E. Young Research Library, the Science and Engineering Library. Large format overhead scanners are available in the Arts Library, Music Library and Research Library. Microfilm scanners are available in the Research Library.

To print an email message or attachment, forward your email to: bw-fpld@eprintitsaas.com (B&W print) or color-fpld@eprintitsaas.com (color print). You will be sent release instructions which can be used to retrieve your printouts from the 2nd Floor Computer Commons printer.

Free self-serve scanners are available on the 1st Floor adjacent to the elevators by the self-checkouts, behind the 2nd Floor and 3rd Floor Service Desks, in the 2nd Floor Computer Commons, and in Studio 300. Scans can be sent to an email address or saved to a USB flash drive. The units on the 1st Floor, in the 2nd Floor Computer Commons, and in Studio 300 contain flatbed scanners and document scanners, while the scanners behind the 2nd Floor and 3rd Floor Service desks only have document scanners.

A large format plotter is available on the first floor (Room 121) of the Orbach Science Library for academic material printing/copying/scanning only. For all other large-format printing and scanning, please go to campus Printing & Reprographics. Only trained Library staff may operate the plotter. Files must be print-ready. The scanner can only handle individual sheets with a maximum width of 36 inches. Complete information for the plotter policies can be found at:

The two touch screen scanners are able to scan to email, USB flash drive, cloud services, or your mobile phone. It's fast and handy! There is one scanner located on the first floor outside the periodicals office. This scanner is able to handle paper up to 11" x 17".

The second scanner is located on the second floor around the corner from the Access Services desk. This scanner can do large format as well as books. There are also several editing functions available directly on the scanner.

The Library has a number of Spirit Book Scanners that can be used to easily scan book pages. The scanners provide a real-time preview and save the scanned pages as a multi-page PDF directly to a USB memory device.

Several branches have flatbed scanners hooked up to computers, available for use by McGill students, faculty and staff. If you need to make a higher quality scan and edit the image or perform OCR on your scanned document, seek out one of these.

To print an email or attachment from a mobile device, simply forward your email to one of these addresses:

B&W printouts: tbs-CRPL-bw@eprintitservice.com

The library provides a free, easy-to-use scanning station for public use. Convert books, documents, and photos into PDF, Word, or JPEG files, and scan to a USB drive, e-mail, mobile device, Google Drive, or to our printer. The scanner can be found to the left of the circulation desk.

All of our locations have multifunction machines you can use to print, copy and scan or you can request that we copy a few pages from a book or print publication in our collection with our photocopy request form. There is a small fee for self-service printing and photocopying. Currently, printing and photocopying is cash only. Scanning is free, but does require a USB flash drive, except on Level 5 at the Central Library, where there are two flatbed scanners attached to computers.

For staff and faculty, Lehigh departments also maintain their own multifunction printer/copier/scanners, and provide printing access to them via a centralized print server, printers.cc.lehigh.edu, administered by LTS. Most Lehigh-owned Windows-based computers have a desktop icon that provides access to the list of printers, segregated by those available to students, and those available only to faculty and staff, and organized by building. For Macs, see the alternative instructions.

Network Scanners are also available and are able to send scans of documents to email addresses or our network file server (scans.lehigh.edu). The EWFM Library also has a 11x17 scanner available near the Help Desk.

11x17" scanners are located on the 1st floor in the hallway by the Main Desk and in room 115, which is halfway down the hall. Login with your Viterbo username and password. Scanning is free to your Viterbo email address. Flatbed scanners connected to computers are located in 115 and 117.

Free document scanning is available at all library locations. A flatbed scanner for documents up to legal size and an automatic document feeder are available at each station. Documents are scanned as a .pdf file and saved to your own USB drive or can be sent to an email address. Max file size for scan to email may be limited by your email service provider. ff782bc1db
