This site is a curated collection of graphs from the USAFacts, along with historical images from various primary source collections. The graphs were selected because they provide information about changes over time in the United States. The graphs are organized according different areas of change, including populations and demographics, health, education, human and civil rights, the environment, and conflict. These topics line up with and can be used to complement topics on the partner website, How has the world changed over time? Under each topic, there are 6-8 graphs and brief explanations to help you read the graphs. At the bottom of each topic page, you will also find links to images that will help you answer the overarching framing question: How has the United States changed over time?
Your assignment is to work with group members to select 3-4 graphs and 3-4 images that you think illustrate the most important changes over the last 100 or more years for your topic. You will present these graphs in a Google Slide presentation and explain why your group chose them. Remember to write your explanation under speaker notes.
