7.3L Hydra Package With JeliBuilt Calibrations

This package includes 6 custom tunes by JeliBuilt Performance pre-loaded on a brand-new Power-Hungry Performance Hydra Chip. Our custom tuning is written for your particular modifications, such as, injectors, turbocharger, high pressure oil pump, transmission, etc. For optimal performance, drivability and cleaner fueling, our tuning utilizes the MAP sensor on the engine.

Below is a list of all the available tunes that we can quickly program into your pre-existing Hydra Tuner Chip. You can pick up to 6 different selectable on-the-fly tunes that will be loaded onto your chip.

It would be interesting to be able to integrate hydra configuration with tune. The aim would be to simplify the process of injecting hyper parameters generated by tune into a hydra based configuration.

Ok, this sounds more like the second alternative. Basically here we would use load_hydra_config to parse the yaml files and construct the search space (and the constant parameters). Does that make sense?

In the tuning function, would you be ok with accessing your parameters with config["experiment]["lr"] etc, or would you prefer the hydra-style cfg.experiment.lr? And would this be a hard requirement or is it mostly about defining and parsing the config for you?

One difficulty I think that may be encountered is the unstandardised ways that suggesters have of defining their search spaces. I am not sure how your proposal handles this (eg. the suggester would already be initialised by the time you run the load_hydra_config function).

You already know the Hydra Chip as the most versatile chip on the market. But now, you will use your Hydra S/N to gain access to the server and download files similar to the the "example list" down below. The file names will have your injector size in the name of the file to easily find your specific tunes for what injectors you are running.

Availability:  Most of the common HEX codes are available in the Titan Unlock library. If you need a HEX code added, please contact Power Hungry Performance. 

 

 Refund policy:  Tunes will not be re-written for additional modifications. If tuning does not work with the truck and a refund is needed, the Hydra chip must be mailed to Power Hungry Performance to be cleared off and a $25 fee will be taken off refund. If there is any question whether these tunes will work with your application or not, please contact Power Hungry Performance before purchasing.

I want to do hyperparameter tuning for a neural net, created with keras. For this project I handle my config.yaml files with hydra, use mlflow to store the metrics and parameters from the optimization and use ray to parallelize the computation of the optimization.

On the other hand I have the model_1_static.yaml to define the parameters for the model, if I do not a parameter optimization. Thanks to hydra it is super easy to change the filename within the config.yaml and the model_1_static.yaml will be considered. This file looks as follows:

So my preferred solution would be to only use this one class to 1) do hyperparameter optimization and 2) build a simple model. But it only works for building a simple model (when I pass model_1_static.yaml). If I want to do hyperparameter optimization with ray tune and mlflow (like in the above given examples), it is not working, because the omegaconf dicts from hydra are transformed within ray tune to normal python dicts. So I cannot address the values in the dict with cfg.ml.MODEL_DENSE.NUM_LAYERS anymore. Also the tune strings within the .yaml must be evaluated.

A "Boost fooler" is recommended. Custom written for transmission modifications, turbo modifications, HPOP modifications, gear and tire size. These tunes will be written for your truck and modifications specifically. You will need to supply us with your PCM code, Injector Size (CC & Nozzle) and any other relevant information needed for custom tuning (tire size, turbo size, HPOP Mods, etc.)

I also wrote a couple longer-form essays, with photos, about the process we used to make this. The first one is about recording the music at a studio and then re-amping the stems into our favorite performance space (an old chapel) to capture the reverb. The second one is about pairing the music with some hydra patches to create visualizations for two of the tracks.
