I am a new SuperNova player with just a few turns in on Draco at this point. As part of the process of learning the rules, I am creating a SuperNova Player Aid. While this is likely most useful to newer players, I am hoping the veterans will find it useful, as well. The purpose of this Player Aid is not to replace the existing rulebooks or the fantastic General SuperNova Advice for Draco Galaxy document created by Scott Vandersee, but rather serve as a quick reference document for things you need to access regularly (or learn as a new player). While I am only a Draco player, my goal is to make this document useful to Andromeda players, as well. The link to download is:

Lightspark an open-source alternative to Flash Player that is available both as a desktop application and a browser extension. OpenSilver is a free open-source tool serving as an alternative to Microsoft Silverlight. OpenSilver is more a development tool than a player, but you can use it to run Flash-based content on your Windows PC. OpenSilver is compatible with both desktop and mobile browsers. Powered by WebAssembly, it not only supports SWF format but also enables work with different programming languages for web development. You can download OpenSilver here.

Gnash flash player is a solid replacement for Adobe Flash Player that comes as a standalone desktop player and a web browser plug-in. It supports all Flash-based multimedia formats and serves as a great alternative to Adobe Flash Player for Mac. As a plugin, Gnash is available in many popular browsers. Its version for Windows, however, has not received updates since 2012, so it provides no support for SWF version 10. You can download Gnash here.

Elmedia Player is a media player that supports displaying different video formats on Mac, including FLV and SWF files. "When we built our team, we built it around former Olympians, collegiate All-Americans, players that have played professionally overseas for many years, we have players that are on the current USA National team," said Supernova coach, Shelton Collier.

If you do use content that runs on Flash -- for example, some online games -- you will lose access to that content unless or until the site updates it (hopefully they will soon). There is no substitute for the Flash player plugin; the content needs to be repackaged differently by the site.

Finally, since you are on Windows, please note that Microsoft plans to remove the Flash plugin from Windows through updates in January 2021 or afterwards. See: -us/lifecycle/faq/adobe-flash-player#what-are-the-changes-expected-at-the-end-of-support

If Supernova utilized a board where all player ships started at the bottom and then needed to fly up the board towards the supernova, while grabbing energy bursts along the way, I have a feeling this would be too easy. So, I certainly get why the board is designed the way it is and I like the look of it.

You see where this is going. The analysis paralysis even in a two-player game can be absolutely brutal in Supernova, but I see why the design is set up this way; my wife, during our first game, said it best:

Overall, I really think there is something rich here in Supernova for the right kind of player profile. While I am not that kind of gamer, the patient, high-IQ individual who enjoys a good puzzle will really enjoy Supernova; finding those fun moments to grab cubes will be very satisfying to the appropriate audience.

To switch player (or simply reload the game), click on the appropriate button, right above the game. Also, note that when the user script goes for SuperNova, it will load both the interface (the page which asks to download it and the page with the "play" button) AND the game (one less click to make because, afterall, click is time and time is money!).

Finally, when loading a Flash game page, the player used to load the game is chosen based on your plugins, browser and operating system: Flash if you can use it, else SuperNova for Windows users and Ruffle for the others. If this choice does not suit you, you can use this second script to set the swf player that you would want to use by default.

Note: the Kongregate Flash games fixer is not meant to work on games that are hosted outside the Kongregate servers (in other words, the multiplayer games [more or less]; for example Crusaders of the Lost Idols). If you really want it to be compatible with one of these games, send me a message on my Kongregate profile and I will see what I can do (however, I cannot guarantee I would succeed).

If a player does not work, switch to another one, or switch browser. The Kongregate Flash games fixer has been successfully tested on Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Pale Moon, White Star, Basilisk and Waterfox Classic. However, current versions of the first three no longer support Flash.

A great quality to the 10mFan Supernova alto mouthpiece is that it still allows the player the ability to mold and shape the sound as they play. I have played other high baffled alto mouthpieces that feel like they box you into this one high baffled alto saxophone tone that is next to impossible to get away from. The Supernova alto sax mouthpiece still allows the player the freedom to fatten the tone or darken the tone if needed which I really loved. It also allows the player to go in the other direction of making the tone even brighter and tougher when needed which is really cool.

Disclosure: I received the sample mouthpiece reviewed above for free in the hope that I would try it and perhaps review it on my blog. Regardless, I only review sax mouthpieces that I enjoy playing and believe will be good for other saxophone players to try also. Steve

Well, to each his own. This mouthpiece search discussion just shows that we are all different and it is a very personal thing for each of us. The 10mFan Supernova is without a doubt a bright mouthpiece. A big part of me providing sound clips is so people can hear exactly how each piece plays for me because words can only go so far or describe so much. The videos provided by other players also can help people hear how the piece sounds as well so they can make an informed decision.

Supernova is a third person action / puzzle game, similar in many respects to the Lego movies series of games. The story follows the adventures of a group of young teenage aliens as they strive to save a planetary system from the titular supernova.

Lumines Supernova[a] is a puzzle video game, the fourth main entry in the Lumines series. The game was published and developed by Q Entertainment with original series creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi as the game designer and Katsumi Yokota as director. The game was released on the PlayStation Network on December 18, 2008, for Japan and North America. The objective of the game is to arrange 22 blocks varying between two colors into same-colored squares by moving them, rotating, and dropping them in a 1610 playing field while a timeline sweeps from left to right and clears the completed squares and awards points to the players. It features all of the previous game modes that Lumines Live! implemented with the exception of online multiplayer, as well as an expanded version of the Sequencer from Lumines II and a new mode, DigDown Mode. Lumines Supernova was received positively among reviewers, with some adding it to their Top-rated lists. However, the game was criticized for the lack of online multiplayer that was previously introduced in the series.

Lumines Supernova's gameplay has remained largely the same as its predecessors in the Lumines series with new features. The objective of the game is to rotate and move 22 blocks varying between two colors onto a 1610 playing field in order to create squares of 22 of matching color or larger. A vertical line known as the "Time Line" sweeps across the playing field from left to right and erases the matching colored squares, awarding points to the player's total score. The game is lost when the blocks reach the top of the playing field. The core game modes from the series return: Challenge mode, Time Attack Mode, and Puzzle mode. In Challenge mode, players unlock skins by continuously playing through each level. In time Attack mode, players must clear as many matching colored squares as possible under a time limit. In puzzle mode, players need to use the 22 blocks to create a specific shape.

Features previously introduced from Lumines Live! and Lumines II return in Lumines Supernova: Skin Edit mode and Mission mode. Skin Edit mode allows players to create a playlist of Skins previously unlocked in Challenge mode. Mission mode players must complete specific tasks. The Sequencer option originally introduced in Lumines II but didn't appear in Lumines Live returns in this game. The sequencer allows players to create their own original background music and sound effects from one of four unique base music types. With each base music, Players can save up to 20 original music sequences with each base music used. They can also be ported up to four skins into Skin Edit Mode and more skins including Sackboys and the Sackgirls from LittleBigPlanet.[1] e24fc04721
