The first method is to download Netflix movies directly and watch them on your Switch, and the second one is to install the Android OS on your switch and download the Netflix app on the Android OS. Check them out in the post.

Because the switch has no official app that can play media files directly from a USB or an SD card, it is currently not feasible to transfer Netflix films in MP4 format to the switch straightly. Therefore, it is recommended that you upload the downloaded Netflix video in MP4 format to your YouTube channel. Then, with the Nintendo Switch, you may watch your favorite Netflix movies on the YouTube channel.

As few media player apps are available on the switch, so we prefer to upload the downloaded Netflix videos to YouTube firstly and play these video files via YouTube App on the Switch. Just Go to in a web browser and directly upload videos to the YouTube web page.

I don't think I'd need it much now since I just upgraded to a smarter TV (the previous was so slow it would be faster to watch YouTube on Switch rather than in the TV's app, it would boot faster). But I still regularly watch YouTube every morning on my Switch while making coffee, and then switch to Animal Crossing to drink the coffee I just made. It's just my routine now.

Stopped using Netflix on my Wii U a year or two ago or so as it just kept on crashing. Then used my PS3, that started to overheat and freeze.

If it came to switch, I might get it so that I can watch films on the go, but very doubtful.

Damn, i actually used netflix on Wii U alot. The xbox version has the trailers always running, really annoying while you are browsing quickly. I must admit though, the Wii U version has been "unstable" the past year, gamepad becomes unresponsive after an hour or so. I figured it was because it hasn't been updated or looked after.

@Zenszulu they haven't "supported" it for several years. It hasn't been updated and currently the gamepad loses responsiveness after watching anything. This pulling of the plug is them killing an older version of netflix that used to work really well on older devices. God knows why it doesn't work properly now, unless it was intentional.

Im tired of the people who say it doesnt belong on switch. I would absolutly love netflix on switch and it would be my number one device i would use it on. Being able to ly in bed with headphones on and netflix on the switch would be sweet... by the way i hate using my phone for streaming services and i dont own a silly tablet. I love how the switch feels in my hands and im not a fan of touch con-trolls. It would also save so much power not running netflix through my ps4 and tv. (Who knows how much that costs a week.) But who cares about that right....(me).... just charge the switch and away you go

And for the Netflix apps not being on the Switch is such a shame. I'd take it that many people use a switch for entertainment in the train, or on the plane and it would be logical to also be able to watch Netflix on it. Shame, missed opportunity.

I have a Sharp Roku TV and it keeps dropping whatever I'm watching and switching to the Netflix login screen every 5 minutes or so. I'll be watching a movie on Amazon Prime or HBO and the screen will just go black, and switch over to Netflix. I went to the main menu and checked for the most recent software update, and it's up-to-date, so I'm not sure how else I can fix this. Please help. Thanks!

There is something wrong - i am watching prime and it keeps switching back to netflix and my son gets logged out from Netflix on the Ipad whenever this happens. Very annoying - it happens often. This seems to be a bug Roku needs to fix it.

My TCL Roku keep switching to HBO this is ridiculous! TV only a year old to be having issues. I need some answers now! I would not be purchasing another TCL tv wouldn't be recommended to family members or friends. e24fc04721
