In 2022, the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) reading assessment was administered to representative samples of fourth- and eighth-grade students in the nation, states, the District of Columbia, Department of Defense schools, and 26 participating large urban districts The reading assessment at grade 12 was last administered nationally in 2019. The 2022 reading assessment included literary and informational texts to assess students' reading comprehension skills. Students also answered survey questions about their opportunities to learn and their engagement with reading in and outside of school.

In 2022, average reading scores were lower for both fourth- and eighth-grade students compared to 2019: scores were lower by 3 point at both grades. Average scores at both grades were not significantly different in comparison to the first reading assessment in 1992. Download a summary of the 2022 reading results.

Grade 12 is a critical transition point for most American students. Since NAEP is the only source of nationally representative results of twelfth-grade student achievement, the National Assessment Governing Board (the Governing Board) has been conducting research on the potential of NAEP at grade 12 to serve as an indicator of academic preparedness for college. The research results to date support inferences about NAEP performance and academic preparedness for college at the national level. Read more about the Governing Board's preparedness research.

The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is a continuing and nationally representative measure of trends in academic achievement of U.S. elementary and secondary students in various subjects. It is the largest continuing and nationally representative assessment of what our nation's students know and can do in select subjects. It was first administered in 1969 to measure student achievement nationally. Teachers, principals, parents, policymakers, and researchers all use NAEP results to assess progress and develop ways to improve education in the United States.

Providers must disclose information for the general public related to their curriculum, policies, certification and physical location of administrators and instructional staff, instructional staff availability, student-teacher ratios, student completion and promotion rates and student and school performance results.

Note: 2023 student data files, summary data files, and preliminary student performance reports (SPRs) were made available to districts in June; finalized SPRs and school- and district-level reports were made available in July. Districts and schools may share confidential individual student performance reports with parents and may use aggregated and individual student level results internally for informational and planning purposes as soon as they are received.

In Grade Results, 80 percent of the classes are online and students are provided a laptop with internet access. The program also provides one-on-one instruction and an on-site project manager to meet with students to discuss test results. Students do not attend classes at the schools.

Question 1: The first question might seem a little out in left field. However, can a student go back into an abandoned attempt and improve the scores there which do not change in the Moodle grade book because of the exercise has been abandoned?

Background:  Between 30% and 50% of women who have high-grade uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) limited to the uterus at diagnosis remain progression-free at 2 years. Adjuvant pelvic radiation does not improve outcome. The objective of the current study was to determine the 2-year and 3-year progression-free survival (PFS) among a prospective cohort of women who received adjuvant gemcitabine plus docetaxel followed by doxorubicin.

Methods:  Women with uterus-limited, high-grade uLMS and adequate organ function were eligible. Within 12 weeks of complete resection and after confirmation that they had no evidence of disease on computed tomography (CT) images, the patients received 4 cycles of fixed-dose-rate gemcitabine plus docetaxel. Those who were confirmed disease-free on CT scans after cycle 4 received 4 cycles of doxorubicin. CT imaging for recurrence was performed every 3 months for 2 years, then every 6 months for 3 years.

Conclusions:  Among women with high-grade, uterus-limited uLMS who received treatment with adjuvant gemcitabine plus docetaxel followed by doxorubicin, 78% remained progression-free at 2 years, and 57% remained progression-free at 3 years. A randomized trial of adjuvant chemotherapy versus observation to determine whether adjuvant chemotherapy can improve survival in women with uterus-limited uLMS is underway.

Students receiving special education services continue to show progress, with year-over-year increases in grade level proficiency in grades 3-8 math, 5th and 8th grade science, and 8th grade social studies. Through the provision of more than $1.1 billion in additional annual special education funding over the past seven years, Texas continues to invest heavily to provide critical support for students receiving special education services.

The DOE shares test results to help families and educators understand the performance of New York City schools in recent years. Keep in mind that test results are just one measurement of student achievement.

Test results are available for grade 3-8 state assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, New York State Regents exams, SAT, Advanced Placement exams, and the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). The availability of reports vary by school-year due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and cancellation of exams.

Every year, students in grade three through eight participate in the English Language Arts (ELA) and math state assessments. Math and ELA results for 2020 and 2021 are not shown. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exams were not administered in 2020 and were optional for students to take in 2021. For an overview of 2023 ELA and Math assessment participation and results, see the 2023 English Language Arts and Math Results Summary.

ELA and Math test results are available at the city, borough, district, and school levels. Test results can be found below. Each Excel file contains results for all students tested, as well as results by student characteristics including disability status, English Language Learner (ELL) status, race/ethnicity, and gender.

Regents exam results are available at the school level. Results include all administrations of Regents exams in each school year and reports the highest score for each student for each Regents exam taken in each school year. Test results can be found below. The Regents Excel file contains results for all students tested, as well as results by student characteristics including disability status, English Language Learner (ELL) status, race/ethnicity, and gender.

Starting in 2017, the SAT is administered to all grade 11 students on SAT School Day. Students may also take the exam on their own during weekends. The College Board administers the SAT and provides the DOE with results for NYC students.

Background:  In this prospective study, the authors evaluated potential treatment toxicity and progression-free survival in patients with low-grade glioma who received treatment with proton radiation therapy.

Methods:  Twenty patients with World Health Organization grade 2 glioma who were eligible for radiation therapy were enrolled in a prospective, single-arm trial of proton therapy. The patients received proton therapy at a dose of 54 Gy (relative biological effectiveness) in 30 fractions. Comprehensive baseline and regular post-treatment evaluations of neurocognitive function, neuroendocrine function, and quality of life (QOL) were performed.

Conclusions:  Patients with low-grade glioma tolerate proton therapy well, and a subset develops neuroendocrine deficiencies. There is no evidence for overall decline in cognitive function or QOL.

I am waiting on my final Exam score and it is set to be released AFTER my first credit expires. Will I lose my Exam credit?

As long as you TAKE your final exam section BEFORE your first exam credit expires and when you receive your score it is passing, then you would not lose that first exam credit. All expiration times are set on Central Standard Time and are not calculated by your exam appointment time. If your first credit expires on January 31st, it is recommended that you take your final section on January 30th.

Score Review (AUD, BEC, FAR, REG) FEE: $240.00

Because all scores undergo several quality control checks before they are reported, a score review seldom results in a score change.

Note that there are four Multi-Subject tests available for four different grade level bands. Each Multi-Subject test has three parts. Part Three is shared by all four Multi-Subject tests; therefore, if you are seeking more than one Multi-Subject certificate, you need to pass Part Three only once.

If prostate cancer is found in a biopsy sample, the pathologist will assign it a grade, which is based on how abnormal the cancer looks under the microscope. Higher-grade cancers look more abnormal, and they are more likely to grow faster.

Since prostate cancers often have areas with different grades, a grade is assigned to the 2 areas that make up most of the cancer. These 2 grades are added to yield the Gleason score (also called the Gleason sum).

The first number assigned is the grade that is most common in the tumor. For example, if the Gleason score is written as 3+4=7, it means most of the tumor is grade 3 and less is grade 4, and they are added for a Gleason score of 7. e24fc04721
