How To Download ((LINK)) Apps Without Software Update

I need to be able to close Netflix and Disney+ on my ATV4K, as otherwise they stay open on the adult profiles which is not good when we share the device with kids who have their own profiles. I know I can close the apps every time I finish by double pressing home then swipe up, but can it be done without the swipe touchpad action? I wanted to use a universal remote which doesn't have swipe.

Update: Thanks to those below, I now know you can double click up instead of swipe to close apps. So now I'm just saying it would be nice if these profile based apps had options to always ask who's watching, to avoid kids finding them already logged in on an adult profile. Or if Apple TV had an option to auto close apps instead of leave them running.

If you want to start multiple apps that way (in separate X sessions), you need to adjust the last digit - the display number.

If you want them all on the same display, do 'xinit /usr/bin/ $* -- :1'.

There are some threads here aksing for this and even some answers from the RC team, that you are working on such a feature, e.g. Install addons without marketplace or Marketplace apps download without any internet connection (offline installer)

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

That last comment correctly identifies the problem. There is no good reason to cap cellular download sizes in the App Store. Some moron at Apple made an arbitrary and inexplicable decision on all their customers' behalf. As I go a very long time without access to decent wifi service, it's a bit of a deal breaker for me.

Is there a place to download the new apps directly, I mean fully packaged files. Some links people have suggested are just an icon which then links to the CC desktop app, which then crashes as mentioned above.

We use adobe for teams. There is an article suggesting to download adobe packager, but following the link doesn't take me to adobe packager, plus the advice is NOT to install adobe packager on a mac running any adobe apps! So more barriers.

In Creative Cloud for terms, it is impossible to install without CCDA (Creative Cloud Desktop App).

If it is Creative Cloud for Enterprise, it is possible to create and install a package without CCDA with Packager, but an administrator password is required to run Packager itself.

This may sound paranoid, but I have this thing about installing Google Chrome. I don't trust Google far enough to see my web browsing habits as well. However, I really want to use the desktop Hangouts app that Chrome can run. Is there any way to run Chrome apps without installing Chrome?

I have a development store and I am trying to do appSubscriptionCreate mutation for the store, but I'm getting "Apps without a public distribution cannot use the Billing API" error from Shopify graphql response. I was able to make this query before updating the graphql version to the latest (2022-07). Besides, I set test=true so it shouldn't matter whether the app is public or not I thought? Could someone assist me with this issue please? Thank you!

I had the same problem where I was unable to download any system updates or apps, apps from Google Play Store without WiFi. Even the apps from MI app could not be downloaded. I found out that I had restricted data usage on the Downloads app from both the SIM cards.

If you are trying to update or download any app and selected the setting auto-update over WiFi, then you need to go to the My apps and Update buttons where you will see many apps are queued for the update. You need to cancel the downloading by clicking on the cross sign, after that you will see an update button next to the app. Now, your app is ready for update without any WiFi.

Imagine this: one day you wake up in the morning and cannot find your phone. It's not on the bedside table or under the armchair by the door. Ah! It was under your pillow! You can now take a breath of relief as you switch on your phone, and the screen blinks to life. You check your notifications and find a follow request on one of the many social media apps. Curious, you opened the app, but it simply wouldn't open. None of your apps seems to open. What a disaster! Now you are panicking.
