About

Welcome to my Homepage! I am Houssam Abdul-Rahman, an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the UAE University (UAEU). Prior to this, I held a visiting assistant professor position at NYU Abu Dhabi and a postdoctoral research associate position at the University of Arizona, where I was working with Robert Sims

In 2016, I completed my PhD at the University of Alabama at Birmingham under the supervision of Günter Stolz.

My main research lies in the field of mathematical physics. In particular, I am interested in the mathematical approaches to quantum many body systems. The tabs at the top of this page contain information about my research, teaching, and talks.

Abu Dhabi Stochastic Seminar  brings together researchers from New York University Abu Dhabi and Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. The seminar covers a wide range of topics in pure and applied probability as well as Mathematical physics and related areas (eg: Statistics and Machine Learning).
