STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The Housing Coalition seeks to create the environment within the community to ensure everyone’s housing needs are met and that everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity and hope .
MISSION
•Mobilizing the community to positively influence and address housing challenges in the Northern Shenandoah Valley region.
STRUCTURE
4 primary goals are the foundation that community sees as most effective in addressing the housing crisis. The goals are the basis of working groups.
Goal 1: Build connections and equip organizations to help set favorable conditions for improving housing affordability.
Goal 2: Increase awareness of the state of housing in the community.
Goal 3: Leverage data and research to understand the housing affordability challenges in the region.
Goal 4: Evolve Coalition structure to ensure ongoing community housing impact.
