Applicants must be:

• Alcohol and drug free

• Must be 18 or older and homeless without children with them

• Work ready

• Capable of a 40 hour work week

• Able to live in a group setting

Appointment Steps:

• Check to make sure the general eligibility requirements are met.

• Call Angie Whitehead at 803-779-4706 and schedule a face-to-face interview between 10 AM - 4PM Monday-Friday.

  • The interview is an assessment of the individual and her needs. The shelter will identify the immediate crisis and discuss the resources that they have available. The client will have the opportunity to ask questions about the shelter and the resources that may be available to her once she is accepted into the program. The client will know if she has been accepted into the program once the interview is completed. If there is a waiting list for bed space then she will be placed on a list and will be contacted once a space becomes available.
