Additional Eligibility Requirements

• Proof of employment or proof that tenant is receiving Social Security/Disability

• Tenant DOES NOT receive currently subsidized rent assistance

• Tenant has not received financial assistance from any other agency in the past 12 months

Appointment Steps & Documentation

• Schedule a telephone appointment using this link

• At least 24 hours prior to the appointment, tenant must provide via email or mail the following documents:

  • Copies of a lease or mortgage agreement.

  • A copy of pay stubs for a month, award letters, or unemployment verification for disability or social security for all working adults in the family.

  • Copies of every bill that is paid by the applicant.

  • For Rent or Mortgage Assistance: A written statement of how much is owed to date plus the landlord’s email or fax number.

• Submit these documents at least 24 hours before the telephone appointment:

  • by FAX to (803) 252-8621.

Emergency Food Pantry

If you are homeless or cannot get to a church providing bags of food, you may receive an emergency food box from The Cooperative Ministry. Please come to our front door and ring the doorbell. Someone will assist you.

IF YOU NEED CLOTHING, please complete the appropriate form below and electronically submit it. You will be contacted by e-mail with a day and time when you can pick up your clothing from the Cooperative Ministry's clothing bank. The clothing bank will be open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
