MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Kings County Hospital Center and University Hospital of Brooklyn Housestaff Patient Safety and Quality Council is to improve patient care and safety by educating and engaging residents in quality improvement initiatives that promote the delivery of safe, timely, effective and patient-centered healthcare services to all patients who choose to seek care from our facilities. We aim to expand housestaff participation in the procedural and decision-making processes to improve the delivery of health care services throughout both institutions.

This website and mobile application is a survival guide for all interns,residents, and fellows to access vital hospital information in one place. Aims to improve resident and fellow access to hospital policies and procedures and contact and clinic information for consult services with the goal of improving resident efficiency and access to information. Additionally, the app will provide easy access to information to increase resident involvement in hospital Quality Improvement initiatives, information for how to report Good Catches and Incidents, and HQC information. Funded by CIR Patient Care Trust Fund Grant.
