We lost our home during the war - help us build a new one
👨👩👧👦 We are the Natalchenko family
Ilya, Karina, and our two children — Solomiya and Dan.
We come from Bakhmut, a city we once called home — where we built our house, served people, and raised our kids with love and hope.
🔥 When the war came
In 2023, our home was completely destroyed.
🔊A shell from the fighting landed directly in our daughter Solomiya’s bedroom.
🙏 By God's mercy, we were not at home — our lives were spared.
📖 A powerful testimony
Later, a soldier found a Bible with our wedding date in the ruins.
💬 He contacted us on Instagram and thanked us — our home had become a shelter and source of food for soldiers during some of the darkest days.
It broke our hearts, but we saw the grace:
> 🕊️ Even in destruction, our home became a blessing.

🏚️ We lost everything
Our house is gone. Our neighbors were killed. Some were injured, others scattered across the world. But we stayed in Ukraine — to serve
We didn’t just survive. We chose to stay and help others who, like us, lost everything. Because ✝️ faith, hope, and love cannot be burned.
Today, we live in Ternopil.
Together with our team, we’ve started a new church for new people — a place of hope and healing.
💛 We support displaced families with food, practical help, and emotional and spiritual care.
👨🎓 We also offer free IT training for youth and students to help them build a better future.
Our mission is to serve, restore, and share the love of Christ with those who’ve lost everything.

🏡 Our Dream — To Have a Home Again
After losing everything, we spent a long time living in rented housing.
But now, we’re dreaming of a small, simple home — a fresh start for our family.
🛠️ We’ve already started building it with our own hands — in a village near Ternopil — using fast and affordable frame construction.
✅ With God’s help and the support of friends, we’ve already:
– poured the foundation
– built the walls
– installed windows and doors
🚧 But the interior still needs a lot of work:
We lack resources for electricity, plumbing, insulation, and furniture.
💒 More than just a shelter, we pray this house will be:
– a place of rest for our family
– a space to welcome guests
– a home where we can serve, encourage, and share Christ
