Friends of all ages are welcome to join us and enjoy the creative experience!
Due to venue space and seating arrangements, spots are limited and registration will close once filled.
Friendly Reminders for Companions
◍ Limited Space: As the workshop is set in a lively outdoor market, space is relatively compact. Companions are more than welcome to assist beside the participant, but no extra seating can be provided.
◍ Ensuring a Great Experience: To ensure everyone enjoys a comfortable pottery experience, companions are kindly asked to keep walkways clear and avoid disturbing the instruction or other participants' creative time. You are also warmly invited to explore the market during downtime!
Nail Care: We recommend trimming your fingernails before class for a smoother and easier throwing experience.
Session Duration: Each session is 1 hour.
To ensure a complete experience for every participant and keep subsequent sessions running smoothly, workshop time cannot be extended or delayed. We kindly recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes early to get ready and enjoy a dedicated hour of hands-on creation with us!
The workshop includes the creation and kiln firing of one piece of work.
The Pottery Process: Pottery involves a multi-step process. Pieces must be fully dried before the Bisque Firing, followed by glazing and a second Glaze Firing. This process takes approximately 8–10 weeks.
Shipping Guidelines
◍ Shipping Included: Shipping service is included in the workshop fee. Your finished work will be sent out after complete processing.
◍ Shipping Risks: While we take extra care to protect and pack your piece, third-party transportation carries inherent risks. We cannot offer remakes, refunds, or compensation for damage caused during shipping. Completing registration indicates your agreement to these terms. Thank you for your understanding!
Natural Risks & Artistic Disclaimers: Clay is a natural material, and each piece carries its own unique character. Variations in clay sources, forming methods, drying conditions, and kiln-firing environments may result in natural changes such as cracks, warping, or glaze variations. These qualities are part of the organic beauty and expressive nature of ceramic art.
By registering for the workshop, participants acknowledge and embrace the “natural beauty of clay”, and understand that outcomes shaped by the making and firing process—including natural kiln effects or damage caused by unforeseen events such as earthquakes—are not eligible for refunds, compensation, or replacement.
Photography & Promotion: Studio staff will take photos and videos during the activities for social media (Instagram/Facebook) and future promotional use. You may download these photos for your personal collection. Please inform us in advance if you prefer not to be photographed.
