Children & Accompanying Adults
To ensure a safe and creative environment for our younger artists, please note the following policy for children under the age of 12:
Supervision: All children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the session.
Registration: Every individual entering the studio must be a registered, paid participant.
Special Parent-Child Offer: We highly recommend our "Clay Buddies" plan! This is a specially discounted package designed for one adult and one child (under 12) to create together as a group.
Nail Care: We recommend trimming your fingernails before class for a smoother and easier throwing experience.
Session Duration: Each session is 2 hours. If you require extra time to finish your work, please consult our staff. Additional time can be purchased at NT$150 per 30 minutes per person.
Punctuality: To maintain the quality of the environment and ensure your pieces are completed properly, please arrive on time. Classes will start and end promptly. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted, and no refunds will be provided.
Firing Fees & Additional Works: The course fee includes the firing of one piece. If you create additional pieces, we are happy to fire them for an extra fee. This is calculated at $0.2 NTD per cubic centimeter (Length × Width × Height), with a minimum charge of $50 NTD per piece.
Bookings & Capacity: To ensure a high-quality experience, please book in advance. Each time slot is limited to a maximum of 6 participants.
Group & Corporate Bookings: We welcome inquiries for corporate events or private group sessions. Enjoy the art of pottery with your colleagues, partners, or family in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. For a tailored private experience, please contact us for more details. ☺
The Pottery Process: Pottery involves a multi-step process. Pieces must be fully dried before the Bisque Firing, followed by glazing and a second Glaze Firing. This process takes approximately 8–10 weeks; therefore, works cannot be taken home on the day of the class.
Collection & Shipping: Once your pieces are ready, we will notify you for self-collection at the studio. Alternatively, we offer shipping services:
□ Taiwan Main Island: NT$150 per piece.
□ Offshore Islands: NT$250 per piece.
□ International Shipping: Please contact us for a quote.
✹ Actual shipping costs will depend on the quantity and volume of the works. Please note that the studio is not responsible for any damage incurred during transit.
Storage Policy: Due to limited studio space, please collect your finished works within two months of receiving notification. Uncollected items after this period will be considered abandoned and may be sold for charity or disposed of at our discretion.
Natural Risks & Artistic Disclaimers: Clay is a natural material, and each piece carries its own unique character. Variations in clay sources, forming methods, drying conditions, and kiln-firing environments may result in natural changes such as cracks, warping, or glaze variations. These qualities are part of the organic beauty and expressive nature of ceramic art.
By registering for the workshop, participants acknowledge and embrace the “natural beauty of clay”, and understand that outcomes shaped by the making and firing process—including natural kiln effects or damage caused by unforeseen events such as earthquakes—are not eligible for refunds, compensation, or replacement.
Photography & Promotion: Studio staff will take photos and videos during the activities for social media (Instagram/Facebook) and future promotional use. You may download these photos for your personal collection. Please inform us in advance if you prefer not to be photographed.
[ Registration, Rescheduling & Transfers ]
Appointment Only: All classes are by appointment. To maintain quality, no accompanying guests or observers are allowed.
Booking Process: Please message House of H (LINE/IG/FB) with your registration info. We will provide bank transfer details. Please complete the transfer within two days and provide the last five digits of your account number. If payment is not received within two days, your spot will be released without further notice.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled class due to personal reasons, the following policies apply:
□ 7+ Days Before the Class (excluding the class date): You may choose to transfer your spot to another person or reschedule your class once. The makeup class must be completed within one month.
□ Within 7 Days of the Class (including the class date): We only allow spot transfers to another person. Rescheduling and refunds are not available for late notices.
□ Medical Emergencies (within 7 days): If you are unable to attend due to illness, please provide a valid medical certificate. We will assist you in rescheduling a makeup class, which must be completed within one month.
Force Majeure: In the event of natural disasters or uncontrollable circumstances, the studio will assist with proportional refunds or compensation.
