For experienced clayers, please provide three photos of your own creations. Do not use others' work as your own. If damage occurs to other works or the kiln due to unfamiliarity with the creation process, you will be required to compensate for the damage.
The open studio hours include time for creating and cleaning the personal workspace and tools.
The participation fee only covers tools, materials, space usage, and instruction, and does not include the kiln firing fee. You may decide which pieces to fire after creating them, and we will charge a firing fee based on the volume of each piece (calculated as length * width * height in cubic centimeters * $0.2 NTD., with a minimum fee of $50 NTD. per piece).
Each session lasts 3 hours. If you need more time to create, please consult the staff on-site. Additional time can be purchased at $150 NTD. per 0.5 hour per person.
To maintain the quality of space usage and the integrity of the works, please be punctual. Sessions will begin and end on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not be allowed entry, and the class will be deducted with no refund.
The course is open to children aged 9 and above, who can participate independently.
Children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent, and the accompanying adult must also register. For example, if a 6-year-old child and an adult are attending, please register for "two" spots.
To maintain the quality of the studio, please make a reservation in advance. The maximum number of participants per session is 6.
Pottery making involves multiple steps, and the clay pieces need to dry before being bisque-fired. After bisque firing, the pieces can be glazed and then undergo a second glaze firing. This process takes approximately 6-8 weeks. Once your pieces are finished, we will notify you. You can pick up your works at the studio or have them shipped to you (NT$150/piece for domestic Taiwan delivery; NT$250/piece for outlying islands; international shipping fees are available upon request. The studio is not responsible for any damage during shipping).
Due to limited studio space, please collect your works within two months after notification. If not collected, the works will be considered abandoned and may be sold or disposed of by the studio.
Please be aware that pottery works may undergo changes during the creation and firing process, such as kiln effects or cracks. Ensure you are comfortable with this before signing up. Works damaged due to natural disasters like earthquakes will not be refunded. We apologize for any inconvenience.
During the open studio sessions, staff may take candid photos of the activities and share them on Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms for future promotions. You are welcome to download and keep the photos after the session. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in advance!
[ Registration / Rescheduling / Transfer ]
All courses are by reservation only. To maintain the quality of the class and protect the rights of other participants, no accompanying persons or experience sharing is allowed.
Please send your registration information via the official LINE/Instagram/Facebook of House of H 二室. After the studio confirms, we will provide you with payment information. Please complete the transfer within two days after receiving the payment details and inform the studio of the last five digits of your transfer account for confirmation. If the transfer is not completed within two days, it will be considered as an incomplete registration, and the spot will be opened to other participants without further notice.
For courses held on the same day or the next day, please contact the studio to confirm availability.
If you are unable to attend the course due to personal reasons after successfully registering, please inform us at least 7 days before the course date to transfer or reschedule your course once. If informed within 7 days before the start of the course, we only accept a substitute delegate for each booking place. No refund or makeup class provided.
A substitute delegate may be named at any time before the course at no additional cost.
If you are unable to attend the course due to illness within 7 days, please provide a medical certificate, and we will assist with rescheduling within one month to make up the class.
House of H reserves the right to cancel a course up to and including the date of the course if any unforeseeable and unavoidable event happens and will strive to give as much notice to booked participants as possible and provide further alternatives.
