1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the Property Listing to Table Chrome extension (“the Extension”, “we”, “our”) handles information when you use it.
The Extension is designed to help users convert real estate listing cards displayed on supported property websites into a structured table for sorting, filtering, and exporting to CSV.
2. Data Collection
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
The Extension does NOT collect:
- Personally identifiable information (such as name, email address, phone number)
- Authentication information
- Payment information
- Precise location information
- Browsing history across websites
3. Data Processing (Local Only)
The Extension processes webpage content locally on your device (in your browser) and only when you explicitly trigger it (for example, by clicking the Extension icon and selecting “Convert to Table”).
The Extension may read information displayed on the currently opened webpage, such as:
- Listing title
- Price (e.g., AED)
- Location / community
- Bedrooms / bathrooms
- Area (sqft / sqm)
- Listing URL
- Agent / broker name shown on the page (if available)
This information is used only to generate the table view and provide CSV export functionality.
4. Data Storage
The Extension may store non-personal settings locally using Chrome storage, such as:
- Selected columns / table configuration
- Export preferences
- UI preferences
No personal data is stored.
5. Data Sharing
We do not share data with third parties.
The Extension does not:
- Send data to external servers
- Use analytics trackers
- Use advertising networks
- Embed third-party scripts that collect user data
6. Permissions Usage
The Extension may request the following permissions:
Host Permissions (website access)
Used only to read listing page content on supported real estate websites that the user visits, in order to extract listing fields and generate the table.
activeTab
Used only after user interaction (clicking the Extension button) to access and parse the currently active tab.
storage
Used only to save local user settings and preferences.
tabs (if enabled)
Used only to read the current tab URL and/or detect supported pages, and/or open pages requested by the user. We do not collect browsing history.
7. Remote Code
The Extension does NOT load or execute any remote code. All scripts are bundled and shipped within the extension package. No JavaScript or executable code is downloaded or run from external servers.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Extension is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
