PRIVACY POLICY FOR HOURCUE

HourCue: Work Hours & Pay (“HourCue”), package name com.hourcue.app, is developed by DeenSoft Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information HourCue handles, where it is stored, how it may leave the app, and the choices available to users.
1. PRIVACY SUMMARY
HourCue is designed to work without an account. Work and pay records entered in the app are stored locally on the user’s device.
Version 1.0.0 does not include cloud sync, advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, in-app billing, or an employer connection. DeenSoft Studio does not automatically receive the work or pay information entered in HourCue.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON THE DEVICE
Depending on the features used, HourCue may store the following information locally:
• Job name and position
• Hourly pay rate and rate history
• Pay frequency, pay-period dates, and payday settings
• Overtime settings
• Worked and planned shifts
• Shift dates, start times, end times, and breaks
• Tips, other pay, and estimated earnings
• Work-hour and pay goals
• Paycheck comparisons and history
• Shift templates and reminder settings
• Theme and other app preferences
• Reports and export settings
This information is used to provide HourCue’s features on the user’s device. It is not automatically transmitted to DeenSoft Studio.
3. INFORMATION A USER CHOOSES TO SEND
HourCue does not automatically upload user records.
Information may leave the device only when the user deliberately chooses an action such as saving, copying, opening, emailing, or sharing a CSV or PDF export.
After information is sent to another app, person, or service, the privacy practices of that recipient apply.
If a user contacts DeenSoft Studio for support, DeenSoft Studio may receive the user’s email address, message, and any information or attachments the user chooses to include.
Support information is used only to respond to the request, maintain support records when reasonably necessary, and meet legal obligations. It is not sold or used for advertising.
4. NOTIFICATIONS AND DEVICE PERMISSIONS
HourCue may use local notifications for enabled reminders and active-shift status.
Notification permission is requested only when it is needed for a notification feature. Android may also allow HourCue to restore enabled local reminders after the device restarts.
Version 1.0.0 does not request access to:
• Precise or approximate location
• Contacts
• Camera
• Microphone
• Phone calls
• SMS messages
• Photos or videos
Version 1.0.0 does not request the Android Internet permission.
5. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information stored in HourCue is used to:
• Track worked and planned shifts
• Estimate gross pay before taxes and deductions
• Calculate regular hours, overtime, tips, and other pay
• Compare estimated pay with paycheck information entered by the user
• Display local history, charts, reports, and goals
• Provide enabled reminders and active-shift status
• Create CSV or PDF exports requested by the user
HourCue does not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or create advertising profiles.
6. DATA SHARING
HourCue does not automatically send locally stored records to DeenSoft Studio, advertisers, analytics providers, employers, or other third parties.
Sharing occurs only when the user deliberately exports, copies, opens, emails, or shares information using features available on the device.
Google Play, the Android operating system, an email provider, or a user-selected sharing destination may process information independently under its own privacy policy when the user chooses to use those services.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Local HourCue records remain on the device until the user deletes them or uninstalls the app.
Users can go to:
Privacy & Data > Delete all data
This option removes local jobs, shifts, setup information, pay settings, reminders, preferences, and other HourCue app data from the device.
Uninstalling HourCue also removes its local app data, subject to Android and device-manufacturer behavior.
HourCue does not create user accounts. Therefore, there is no remote HourCue account or server-side user database to delete.
Files that a user has exported, copied, emailed, or shared exist outside HourCue. These external copies are not removed by the in-app Delete all data option or by uninstalling HourCue. The user must delete those copies from their saved location or recipient service.

DeenSoft Studio will honor reasonable deletion requests unless retention is required for security, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.
8. BACKUP AND DEVICE TRANSFER
HourCue opts out of Android cloud backup and device-transfer extraction.
However, operating-system and device-manufacturer behavior may vary. Users should protect their devices and review their device backup settings.
HourCue cannot control copies created manually by users or copies handled by external apps and services.
9. DATA SECURITY
HourCue relies on the Android app sandbox and the user’s device security to protect locally stored records.
Users are responsible for securing their devices, exported files, email messages, and any backups they create.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
HourCue is intended for people managing their own work-hour and pay records. It is not directed to children under 13.
DeenSoft Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children through HourCue.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has sent personal information through a support request, they may contact DeenSoft Studio to request deletion.
11. ESTIMATE LIMITATION
HourCue provides estimates for personal recordkeeping.
HourCue is not a payroll, tax, legal, banking, employment, or financial-advice service.
Users should verify official pay information with their employer, payroll provider, or a qualified professional.
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated when HourCue’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change.
The updated Privacy Policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
