HOS OS 3.4 update install

Step 1 - Download Hos OS 3.4 update Zip file. please make sure you have an internet connection before you install.

Step 2 - Open the terminal and type in " unzip " then drag " HOS OS 3.4. zip " file next to the " unzip " it should look like this " unzip '/home/ your username /Downloads/HOS OS 3.4.zip' " then press enter

Step 3 - Open your terminal and type in " su " and enter your root password. if you don't remember your root password type in " sudo passwd root " and then enter your login password then your new root password for the terminal.

Step 4 - In your Home folder, where your download file is there will be a file labeled " Hos OS 3.4 ".

Step 5 - In the termial type in " chmod +x " then drag " HOS OS 3.4 update.sh" next to the " chmod +x " it should look like this " chmod +x '/home/ your username /Hos OS 3.4/HOS OS 3.4 update.sh' " then press enter

Step 6 - After completing step 3, then drag " HOS OS 3.4 update.sh" into the terminal again and then press enter.

step 7 - you will be asked if you want to update type in " 1 " for yes or " 2 " for no to install the update. you will be prompted to enter your login password and then the update will start. when it is completed your computer will automatically restart.

DO NOT SHUT DOWN OR RESTART YOUR COMPUTER WHEN INSTALLING ANY UPDATES.

YOUR COMPUTER WILL AUTOMATICALLY RESTART AFTER THE UPDATE IS COMPLETED
