I am an advisor at the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. My fields of research include international economics, macroeconomics, monetary policy and banking.

Previously, I worked as a Principal Economist at the Federal Reserve Board, and as an Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics in the Finance and Economics Department of Rutgers Business School, at Rutgers University.

Prior to joining Rutgers Business School, I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Rochester.
