If you want a lightweight, durable dongle specifically tuned for Samsung devices that just needs to get the job done without bulk, choose HopePow 2; if you need a powerful all-in-one hub with active noise cancellation and simultaneous fast charging while listening, choose Bawanfa Plus USB-C.
• HopePow 2: Its greatest strength is its ultra-lightweight, nylon-wrapped design tailored for seamless use with Samsung Galaxy phones; its trade-off is the lack of built-in power delivery, meaning it cannot charge your phone while you listen.
• Bawanfa Plus USB-C: It wins on versatility by offering three ports including a 60W PD charging pass-through and high-fidelity audio with active noise cancellation; however, its integrated chip makes it slightly more complex to manage and potentially less discreet than a simple adapter.
• Best For: The HopePow 2 is the pick for teens who just want a reliable audio connection on their Android device, while the Bawanfa Plus USB-C is ideal for teens who demand to game, charge, and listen simultaneously without interruption.
The HopePow 2 is designed with a singular, focused purpose: to bridge the gap between modern Samsung devices and traditional audio gear. When I look at the specifications, what stands out immediately is the build quality relative to its weight. At only 5 grams, this adapter is practically invisible in your pocket or bag. The manufacturer has chosen a nylon finish, which suggests a focus on durability against fraying—a common issue with cheap dongles that snap after a few months of daily wear. This isn't a gadget for tech enthusiasts who want extra features; it is a tool for someone who simply wants to plug in their headphones and go.
This product is explicitly engineered for the Samsung ecosystem. The model details list compatibility across a wide range of current and upcoming Galaxy models, from the S24 series up to the S26 Ultra and A-series budget lines like the A17 and A57. If you are a teen with a Samsung phone and you are tired of carrying around bulky cases or worrying about your headphone jack breaking off because you keep plugging and unplugging, this is the solution. It does not attempt to do anything other than convert the USB-C signal to a 3.5mm analog signal. There is no DAC chip mentioned, no battery, and no charging capabilities. It is purely a conduit for sound.
You should buy the HopePow 2 if you value simplicity and portability above all else. It is perfect for the student who needs to listen to music during a long commute on a bus or train but doesn't have a dedicated charger plugged into their desk at school. It is also an excellent choice for anyone who already has a separate charging cable and just needs to connect wired headphones to their phone. However, you should skip this product if you plan to use your phone heavily while listening to music. Since it lacks any power delivery mechanism, you will be unable to charge your device while using it. If your battery life is critical, or if you are playing a demanding game that drains power quickly, this adapter will leave you tethered to a wall outlet or forced to choose between listening and keeping your phone alive.

The Bawanfa Plus USB-C is a fundamentally different beast. Instead of acting as a simple bridge, it functions as a mini-hub that expands your single USB-C port into three distinct connections. The most significant feature here is the inclusion of a 60W Power Delivery (PD) port. This means you can plug in your charger and still have enough power to sustain your device while using the other ports. For a teen who lives on their phone, the ability to maintain battery levels while streaming video or gaming is not a luxury; it is a necessity. The adapter ensures stability and safety through a built-in charging chip, addressing the common frustration of "cannot be used while charging" that plagues many cheaper alternatives.
Audio performance is where this unit really tries to impress. Unlike the basic conversion of the HopePow, the Bawanfa Plus integrates an advanced DAC chip capable of handling 24-bit/48kHz high-resolution audio. More importantly, it lists support for active noise cancellation. While the specific implementation depends on the headphones connected, the presence of this technology in the adapter itself signals a commitment to studio-grade sound quality. You can enjoy lossless audio, clear calls, and immersive movie soundtracks even while your phone is drawing power. The package includes both a standard 3.5mm jack and a USB-C audio jack, giving you flexibility whether you own older wired headphones or newer digital ones, though you must remember they cannot be used simultaneously.
This product is best suited for the power user who refuses to compromise on connectivity. It is the ideal choice for a teen who wants the best gaming headphones for teens because they can play for hours without their battery dying mid-match. It also fits the profile of someone looking for the best active noise cancelling earbuds for teens experience, as the hardware supports the necessary fidelity and isolation features. The warranty description notes a two-year coverage, which adds a layer of confidence for parents buying this for their child. However, the complexity of managing three ports means you need to be careful with your cable management. You cannot insert a charging cable into the headphone jack, and you must ensure your charger supports the PD protocol for the full 60W speed. If you prefer a minimalist setup where one tiny piece of plastic does everything, the extra bulk and port count might feel unnecessary.

• Best for heavy gamers → Bawanfa Plus USB-C: The combination of low-latency audio support and simultaneous charging makes this the superior choice for extended gaming sessions on mobile devices.

If I were buying this for a teenager today, I would reach for the Bawanfa Plus USB-C. In my opinion, the convenience of charging while listening is too valuable to ignore. Teens are constantly multitasking—playing games, watching videos, and taking calls—and having to stop to plug in a charger breaks the flow of whatever they are doing. The active noise cancellation and high-resolution audio support further cement this as the better choice for a device that sees heavy daily use. While the HopePow 2 is a fine, lightweight option for those who rarely use their phone while listening, the Bawanfa Plus offers a complete solution that future-proofs the user's setup. For teens, reliability and uninterrupted entertainment are key, and this adapter delivers exactly that.
Yes, the product data sheet explicitly lists compatibility with iPhone 17, 16, and 15 models, including Pro, Plus, and Pro Max variants, alongside various iPad and tablet devices.
No, the HopePow 2 is a passive adapter with no power plug type or charging capability. It converts audio signals only, so you cannot charge your phone while using it.
The Bawanfa Plus USB-C offers superior audio performance due to its 24-bit/48kHz DAC chip and active noise cancellation features, making it the better choice for immersive gaming experiences.
No, the specifications state clearly that USB-C headphones and 3.5mm headphones cannot be used simultaneously; you must choose one output path at a time.
