HOPEGA is a research program at the Department of Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) that focuses on homotopy theory and its applications to geometry and algebra. Specifically, HOPEGA is concerned with research in various areas, including: algebraic K-theory, higher categories, cut-and-paste K-theory of manifolds, cobordism categories, bivariant theories, higher derivators, simplicial volume, bounded cohomology, homological methods in functional analysis...
