Grounds Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years of ageValid driver's license  

• 30 hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Training 

• CPR Certification (within 6 months of employment)

• First Aid / AED Certification (within 6 months of employment)

• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions

• 4 years experience carpentry 

Prefered Qualifications: 

• 1+ year landscaping or lawn maintenance experience (with irrigation systems) 

• 1+ year experience plumbing experience

• 1+ year experience electrical experience 

• 1+ year experience drywall repair and painting 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform facility modifications as needed including projects like installing entry ramps, stair lifts, and grab bars, or building roll-in showers and widening doorways.

• Maintain all plumbing and bathroom fixtures in a good working order at all times 

• Keep floors, walls, and ceilings in good repair

• Maintain an insect, rodent and pest control program 

• Store, safeguard, and maintain poisons, caustics, and other dangerous materials in areas away from residents, food preparation and food storage areas, and medication storage areas. 

• Clear ice and snow from the home's entrances, exits and walkways. 

• Maintain an adequate heating and cooling system at all times ( 68 - 85F )

Direct Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly retainer: $400

• Includes: up to 8 hours of work (any mix of on-call repairs [Mon - Fri 7am - 7pm] and + scheduled inspection / maintenance )  

• Hourly rate for extra work: $55 per hour ($65 per hour for after-hours emergencies) 

• Complimentary post-shift meal provided for up to 8 on-site working days per month.
