Minimum Requirements:
At least 21 years of age
Associates Degree / GED / High School Diploma
2 years administration experience in a licensed personal care home or other healthcare-related setting
Valid driver's license
CPR Certification (within 6 months of employment)
First Aid / AED Certification (within 6 months of employment)
30 hour OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff, executives, residents, family members, and community members
Demonstration of strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or Nursing
Holder of a valid license from the State Board of Long-Term Care Facility Administrators
Job Responsibilities:
Opening/closing of the facility
Conduct applicant interviews, obtain intake paperwork, and maintain resident files
Develop Individual Service Plans
Conduct a Resident Needs Assessment at the time time of a new residents admission
Report any confirmed change in a resident's status to aging in place within 2 business days. Follow protocol to accommodate, transfer, or discharge.
Investigate serious incidents involving residents which result in injuries in order to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in care.
Conduct Post Admissions Assessments
Maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance with policies and procedures to enhance individualized care and service.
Ensure that the policies and procedures are effective and enforced to support the health and safety of the residents.
Host monthly safety drills across all shifts and ensure performance compliance
Monitor and document staff performance to ensure that care and services are being delivered safely and in accordance with these rules.
Draft the complete annual facility budget, including sales volume forecasts, pricing projections, estimated product costs, and annual cost budget estimates.
Propose mid-year reforecasts with updated projections and justifications.
Run monthly variance reports and documenting explanations for all variances.
execute purchase order requests (sourcing providers and suppliers, submitting technical and financial proposals and negotiating as needed), complete 3-way match of facility deliveries, process payments, and complete PO recordings
Conducts market research to inform campaign strategy, approves or denies proposed campaigns, and evaluates overall performance post-launch.
Arrange for resident transportation to obtaining new prescriptions within 48 hours of receipt of notice of the prescription.
Lead site tours
Perform daily/weekly/monthly checks to ensure proper maintenance of the interior and exterior of the facility, submit work orders, direct grounds manager, and assist with general questions regarding home maintenance/repair
Supervising and organizing the desk/computer area while performing various reception and clerical duties
Collecting fees for fees and payments, complying with all cash handling procedures, ensure appropriate paperwork is completed for stays and programs, complete rental and program contracts, and reviewing rental documents for accuracy
Creating and maintain signage as necessary to keep the public informed of current information
