There is an opportunity in East Africa that HOPAC has been invited to be part of!
Meto is built on the idea that finding good-fit universities is a time-consuming and complex process for students (and their university counselors)... and that these obstacles can prevent students from finding the universities that want them. So, Meto reverses the process: instead of relying on students to find good-fit universities, they facilitate good-fit universities finding students. Here is how they do so:
Meto collects academic, financial, extracurricular, and contact information from students via our Student Information Form.
Meto shares subsets of the student information with universities around the world.
Universities look at the database and contact the students whom they want to apply.
Students can decide whether or not they want to apply.
There is no cost to the student or HOPAC. Students take about 45 minutes to complete an application.
