Hooch Cares is Chattahoochee High School's advising and mentoring program for students.

We use weekly advisement sessions and 1-to-1 mentoring to promote Hooch culture and help students grow holistically, including social and emotional growth as well as executive functioning.

Advisement consists of topics that our 9th graders engage normally twice per week during Chatt time. Student and Teacher Advisors lead students through discussion and activities centered around the weekly themes as well as the unique needs of the students.

1-to-1 Mentoring provides a "Big Brother/Sister" type of approach to support predominantly 9th graders that are open to participation with parent/guardian support. Mentees meet with their Mentor weekly and discuss topics pertinent to the needs of that specific mentee. To learn more about our 1-to-1 mentoring program, click the resources tab on the top right corner and scroll down to 1-to-1 Mentoring.
