By serving, remembering, supporting, and honoring the sacrifice of the Recipients, by sharing the stories and values inherent in them, we understand the responsibility and potential within each one of us to inspire the world.

The CES Honor Code helps to accomplish the CES mission to build disciples of Jesus Christ. As faculty, administration, staff, and students voluntarily commit to conduct their lives in accordance with the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, they strive to maintain the highest standards in their personal conduct regarding honor, integrity, morality, and consideration of others. By accepting appointment, continuing in employment, being admitted, or continuing enrollment, each member of the campus communities personally commits to observe the CES Honor Code approved by the Board of Trustees:

Honour (Commonwealth English) or honor (American English; see spelling differences) is a quality of a person that is both of social teaching and of personal ethos, that manifests itself as a code of conduct, and has various elements such as valour, chivalry, honesty, and compassion. It is an abstract concept entailing a perceived quality of worthiness and respectability that affects both the social standing and the self-evaluation of an individual or of institutions such as a family, school, regiment, or nation. Accordingly, individuals (or institutions) are assigned worth and stature based on the harmony of their actions with a specific code of honour, and with the moral code of the society at large.

The British showed respect for American honour. "Some of the strongest praise for America and swiftest recognition of what the young republic had achieved for American honor, prestige, and power came from within British naval circles."[28] Britain refrained from interfering with American maritime interests and ceased with the impressment of American citizens following the war.

At Princeton, all in-class examinations, including finals, midterms, and quizzes, are administered under the Honor Code. Students pledge their honor that they have not attempted to give or receive an unfair advantage during examinations. In exchange, faculty proctors are not present in examination rooms. Additionally, students pledge a responsibility to report all suspected violations of the Code to the Committee. The duality of obligations emphasizes the importance of student to student accountability, a foundational value of the Honor system.

The Honor Code remains one of Davidson's most cherished traditions, with its beginnings dating to the college's formation in 1837. A student-run honor system has existed at Davidson for more than 100 years, and the Honor Council has existed in its current form since its inception in 1959 at the behest of John Wells Kuykendall '59, then student body president of the senior class and eventual President of Davidson College from 1984 to 1997.

Each Davidson student is honor bound to refrain from stealing, lying about College business, and cheating on academic work. Stealing is the intentional taking of any property without right or permission. Lying is intentional misrepresentation of any form. Cheating is any practice, method, or assistance, whether explicitly forbidden or unmentioned, that involves any degree of dishonesty, fraud, or deceit. Cheating includes plagiarism, which is representing another's ideas or words as one's own.

Additional guidelines for each class may be determined by its professor; each Davidson student is responsible for knowing and adhering to them. Each student is responsible for learning and observing appropriate documentation of another's work. Each Davidson student is honor bound to report immediately all violations of the Honor Code of which the student has first-hand knowledge; failure to do so is itself a violation of the Honor Code. All students, faculty, and other employees of Davidson College are responsible for familiarity with and support of the Honor Code.

The following statement is the official honor pledge of Davidson College.

"On my honor I have neither given nor received unauthorized information regarding this work, I have followed and will continue to observe all regulations regarding it, and I am unaware of any violation of the Honor Code by others."

The Albany Medical Center in New York, with support from the New York State Department of Health Immunization Bureau, was the first institution to be included in our Hepatitis B Birth Dose Honor Roll. They were honored in 2013 for achieving a birth dose coverage rate of 99%. Since our first honoree, the list has grown and now totals more than 575 institutions.

One of the values of an honor pledge is regular reiteration of a campus-wide commitment to academic integrity. Writing and signing an honor pledge and seeing other students do the same sends the powerful message that academic dishonesty is not considered acceptable behavior among students, and that promoting academic integrity is a responsibility students share with faculty members.

Administration of honor pledges is not unduly burdensome, as evidenced by long-standing faculty support for honor pledges at many institutions and Maryland in particular. The wording of the Pledge (with appropriate space to write and sign) is printed on all University examination booklets and electronic grading forms.

During those hospital stays, Vosler was invited to the White House to receive the nation's highest honor for valor. On Aug. 30, 1944, he was given the Medal of Honor by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt during a ceremony in the Oval Office.

The Vote in Honor of a Veteran Program provides North Carolinians an opportunity to pay tribute to those who have served this country in the Armed Forces. Any voter can honor a veteran on any Election Day by requesting a pin. Pins are provided for free by the State Board of Elections. Each pin can be personalized with the name of the veteran a voter wishes to honor.

Mission: The Honor Guard is the premier unit for conducting military honors. The highly trained Soldiers and Airmen of the Honor Guard provide color guards for high profile public and military ceremonies.

The Minot AFB Honor Guard serves a distinct mission under unique conditions from performing military honors in North Dakota to presenting colors on base. Members of the Honor Guard perform their ceremonial duties in addition to their primary Air Force specialty. The Minot AFB Honor Guard is comprised of Airmen, NCO's and officers from the 5th BW and 91st Missile Wing.

The team's goal is to emulate the USAF Honor Guard while providing military funeral honors, performing at official military functions and off-base civic functions. The paragraphs below describe these functions in more detail.

From our entire Honor Flight San Diego team, we say thank YOU! As our 2023 flying season ends, we want to say thank you for all you did for the 175 WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War Veterans this year. They were truly honored and thanked for their service and sacrifice because of community support.

Since 1949, the Department has granted honor awards in the form of Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals. The Gold and Silver Medals are the highest and second highest honor granted by the Secretary for distinguished and exceptional performance. The Bronze Medal is granted by the head of an operating unit or Secretarial Officer for superior performance.

We, the students of Barnard College, resolve to uphold the honor of the College by engaging with integrity in all of our academic pursuits. We affirm that academic integrity is the honorable creation and presentation of our own work. We acknowledge that it is our responsibility to seek clarification of proper forms of collaboration and use of academic resources in all assignments or exams. We consider academic integrity to include the proper use and care for all print, electronic, or other academic resources.
