Caesarea Workshop on
Topological Cyclic Homology

01/05/2023 to 03/05/2023
Caesarea Sea Center - Kibbutz Sdot Yam
Research Workshop of the Israel Science Foundation

Three days workshop with Thomas Nikolaus (WWU Münster) on cyclotomic spectra, THH and related invariants (such as TC, TP, TR, TC^-), their universal properties and their relationship to algebraic K-theory and p-adic Hodge theory.

The workshop has a limited number of rooms available. Please note registration serves only as an application.

Lecture Notes

David Blanc kindly contributed his notes - day 1, days 2 and 3 (missing the last three lectures).

Background Material

The workshop will assume some familiarity with the theory of ∞-categories, spectra and higher algebra. We recommend getting familiar with these topics before the workshop.
We recommend the following sources:1. Higher algebra lecture series (videos) by Achim Krause and Thomas Nikolaus. Particularly lectures 8 and 9.2. Introduction to stable homotopy theory (course notes and videos) by Denis Nardin. Also relevant are Achim Krause and Thomas Nikolaus's course on topological Cyclic homology (course notes and videos).
