These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HomeLink mobile application (“the App”), including all related features, functions, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you (“User”, “you”, “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a family group or minor user, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind all relevant users to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
HomeLink is a family safety and device tracking tool designed exclusively for private family use. The Service provides real-time family location sharing, contact & group management, geofence safe zone alerts, low battery reminders, and family device finding functions. All services are intended for lawful family safety supervision and device management purposes only.
No account registration is required. Users can access and use all core functions of the App directly without registering for an account or submitting personal registration information.
You explicitly agree that you will only use the Service to locate your personal devices and track the location of your immediate family members or legal wards with their full voluntary consent. Unauthorized tracking, surveillance, or monitoring of any third party without explicit consent is strictly prohibited.
Since no account registration is required, you shall be solely responsible for all behaviors generated by your use of the App on your device.
You shall not: (1) Use the Service for illegal, malicious, harassing, or invasive purposes; (2) Track or monitor any person or device without explicit voluntary authorization from the relevant owner; (3) Modify, reverse engineer, crack, or interfere with the App’s code and functions; (4) Abuse device finding and location alert functions to disturb others; (5) Violate any local, national, or international laws and regulations applicable to your region.
All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, text, graphics, software code, interface design, and functional logic, are exclusively owned by us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial family use only. No commercial reproduction, distribution, or modification is permitted without our written consent.
The App may rely on third-party map services, iOS system capabilities, and Apple In-App Purchase services. We do not independently collect any payment information. All subscription fees are exclusively deducted and settled by Apple via your Apple ID. We have no access to your payment account information and no independent billing authority.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or suspend any function of the Service at any time without prior notice for maintenance, security, or upgrade purposes. We may restrict your device’s access to the Service immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in unauthorized monitoring or device tracking, or violate relevant laws.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy, real-time performance, or uninterrupted operation of location data, device positioning, and alerts, due to factors including network status, device system exceptions, device shutdown, and third-party map service failures. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to the region where the user resides, excluding conflict of law rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, disputes shall be settled via legal proceedings in the competent jurisdiction.
