Privacy Policy for Home Inventory App

This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled in the Home Inventory app.
The app does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information. All data entered into the app (such as item descriptions, photos, or room names) is stored locally on your device or in your Google Drive account, if you choose to use the backup feature.
Camera Access: Only used to take photos of your items. Photos are saved locally.
Storage Access: Used to save and restore your backups, reports, and exported files. All access is limited to app-specific folders (scoped storage).
Internet Access: Required to communicate with Google Drive when using backup or restore features.
Google Sign-In: Used only to authorize access to your own Google Drive account. The app does not store or share your Google credentials.
If you choose to use Google Drive features:
The app uploads JSON or ZIP backup files only with your permission.
Files are stored in your personal Drive account.
No files are shared or made public by the app.
You can remove these files from Drive at any time.
All data remains under your control. No data is sent to any external servers owned by the developer. The app does not include analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
The app may include an optional premium unlock in the future. No billing information is collected or processed directly by the developer. All transactions will be handled securely by the Google Play Store.
