Donatella Gatti

Welcome to my website.

I am Full Professor of Economics at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN) and a researcher at the CEPN. I am affiliated with the International Network for Economic Research (INFER), and a senior fellow at the Chair of Environmental and Mineral Economics (CEME) since 2026. I have been program co-director of the Master 2 Research in Economics and Management (USPN) since 2024. 

My academic work sits at the intersection of political economy, institutional and environmental economics. I study the interplay between social change and the environmental transition; the determinants and impact of policies and lobbying; the role of emerging technologies, and the societal risks of technological developments, including the joint dynamics of AI diffusion and environmental transition.
