Dear Martin,
Thanks for your thanks. It was a delight to have you all; and I'm pleased you found us welcoming, as that's what we try to achieve. I believe 12-bell towers have the responsibility to allow non-12-bell ringers the chance to ring at least rounds on 12, to 'feel' what this is like - because it's different to 6 and 8 bell ringing. To those of your group who rang on 12 for the first time I offer congratulations - they did better than some I've seen!
