🏬 A New Home for Our Honey
After a short break while the garden centre was busy getting ready for the new growing season, the doors are open once again. And this time, there’s something extra special on the shelves…
Our very own Hollow and Hive honey!
✨ From Kitchen to Customer
It felt magical to see our jars lined up with the plants, and gardening goodies at Halstead Garden Centre — the very place our bees have been working so hard all summer.
From buzzing hives in the corner of the grounds to neatly labelled jars on the shop shelf, the journey has come full circle.
💡 Did you know?
Most supermarket honey is a blend from multiple countries, often pasteurised and filtered until it loses some of its natural character. Local, small-batch honey like ours is different: it keeps the unique flavour, pollen, and aroma of the flowers right here in our area — a true taste of place.
📸 A Proud Moment
We couldn’t resist snapping a few photos of those jars proudly lined up. It’s a milestone that makes all the hard work — the stings, the sticky kitchens, the late-night hive checks — feel worthwhile.
🌼 What’s Next?
Now that our jars are on the shelf, we’re excited to see them find new homes. Each one is a little piece of Hollow and Hive, made possible by thousands of wings, endless flights, and one very special queen, Beryl.
From the hive, to the jar, to the shelf — and soon, to someone’s breakfast table. 💛🐝
