About

Hello! I am currently a researcher at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, where I earned my PhD in Comparative Biology at the Richard Gilder Graduate School in 2023. I work primarily on insect respiration. I also like Nature Photography , particularly of insects.

In my previous careers, I was a software engineer, mostly in real-time embedded systems.

I also spent about 13 years as a stay-at-home dad before going back to grad school.

Although the photo is of an exotic locale (Guyana), the overwhelming majority of my fieldwork has been done in suburban New Jersey. Still exotic, just a different kind.
