The pools close when lightning is detected within 6 miles of the resort. The water slide is closed when lightning is within 10 miles. Teams may begin clearing these facilities before these thresholds are met due to the logistics of operating aquatic facilities. The pools re-open 30 minutes after the lightning threat has cleared. The 30 minute count can not begin until the pool deck has been cleared, so your cooperation in clearing the deck in the event of lightning is essential. Please refer to the Pool Status Tracker on the Pool Information page for status updates.
The tram service is halted when lightning is detected within 2 miles of the resort, and resumes 30 minutes after the lightning threat has cleared.
