Currently (at the time of writing) there is no official way to share your Metahuman creations with others. This can be frustrating, especially of your working alongside a group of people.
So in this tutorial, I will be showing you our method of transferring and sharing characters with others.
Unreal Engine
Metahuman Character
Quixel Bridge
The next step is to press the three dots (next to the heart) and press 'Go to Files'. Once the file explorer loads, navigate through >> 1k (or 2, 3, etc..) >> asset_ue and zip up the metahuman folder using a method of your choice. This is the folder you need to transfer.
You can transfer this zipped folder using any method, but I like to use WeTransfer as it is free.
This step is optional
Once you have transferred the file, you can delete the metahuman from your computer (as it can take up a lot of space on your disk). To do this, you will have to navigate back a couple folders and delete the one that has a name starting with some random letters and ending in '_asset'. For example, 'H8g87IU_asset'. You may need to clear you recycle bin afterwards.
This step is for the recipient
If your project doesn't already contain a metahuman, I suggest you add one of your own in using Quixel bridge first. This will then automatically turn on any settings and addons you need.
If you don't do this, then you will need to set these settings and turn on all of the addons manually. See this article.

Next download the zip file and unzip it.
Then go to you Unreal Engine project content draw, right click on Content and select 'show in explorer'. This will open a file explorer.
Copy the entire metahuman file unzipped into this content folder. Make sure to skip any files which already exist.
Now you have your Metahuman inside of your Unreal Engine project (you may need to restart the project). This Metahuman can now be treated as normal. It can be added to scenes, animated, etc...
