About me

Welcome to my personal site, I am Hoang Phi Dung, PhD, lecturer.

My Vietnamese name is Hoàng Phi Dũng (my first name is Dũng, family name is Hoàng). I am a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Fundamental Sciences, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), Hanoi, Vietnam. I am also a researcher of Laboratory of Applied Mathematics and Computing at PTIT. I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics - geometric topology at the Hanoi Institute of Mathematics, VAST in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Ha Huy Vui. Before that, I was a Master student in Mathematics at Hanoi University of Sciences - Vietnam National University. I work in mathematical areas: Polynomial Optimization, Real Algebraic Geometry and Singularity theory. You can see my works on ResearchGate and Google scholar. I usually teach Linear Algebra and Advanced Engineering Mathematics for PTIT's students.
