If you want a lightweight, open-ear solution that keeps you aware of your surroundings during long webinars and active days, choose Hmusic A24; if you need deep noise isolation for side sleeping or focused meditation without accidental touch disruptions, choose OHAYO Sleep Earbuds.
• Hmusic A24: Its biggest strength is the ultra-lightweight, clip-on open-ring design that allows for all-day comfort and environmental awareness; its trade-off is the lack of physical noise cancellation, relying instead on open-air acoustics. This pick is best for professionals who need to hear their office environment while joining video calls.
• OHAYO Sleep Earbuds: Its biggest strength is the engineered flat profile with adaptive noise cancellation specifically designed for side sleepers to block out snoring and traffic; its trade-off is the in-ear form factor which may not be ideal for extended daytime social awareness. This pick is best for heavy sleepers and those seeking total auditory isolation.
The Hmusic A24 is built for people who refuse to disconnect from their environment while staying connected to their digital tasks. The defining feature here is the open-ring design that sits comfortably on the ear rather than plugging into the canal. Weighing in at just 5.4 grams per earbud, the device feels almost invisible when worn. The manufacturer describes the material as flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which allows the clip to adjust to various ear shapes without causing pressure points. This makes it a prime candidate for anyone wearing glasses, as the open design avoids the conflict between temple arms and traditional earbuds.
For the specific use case of attending webinars, this model offers a distinct advantage. The open-ear architecture means you can listen to a presenter clearly while still hearing a colleague walking by or a doorbell ringing. The Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity ensures stable transmission with low latency, which is critical when trying to keep audio synchronized with video feeds during meetings. Furthermore, the dual-device connection feature allows you to seamlessly switch between your phone and laptop. You can take a call on your mobile and instantly drop back into a presentation on your computer without fumbling with settings.

However, this product is not for everyone. If your primary goal is to block out a noisy construction site or a partner's snoring, the A24 will not provide that level of silence. It relies on Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) primarily for voice clarity during calls, not for passive sound isolation. Users who prefer the immersive "bubble" feel of in-ear monitors might find the open design lacking in bass response or depth. Additionally, while the touch controls are convenient for volume and playback, they require conscious interaction, unlike the set-and-forget nature of some sleep-specific devices. If you need a headset that lets you stay present in the room while working, this is a strong contender, but it sacrifices the isolation that many audiophiles crave.
The OHAYO Sleep Earbuds take a completely different approach, prioritizing deep rest and uninterrupted audio over situational awareness. These buds are engineered with an ergonomic curved shape that molds to the ear, weighing only 2.7 grams per unit. This extreme lightness is crucial because the target user spends hours lying down, often on their side. The flat profile is designed specifically to prevent the discomfort that occurs when a standard earbud presses against a pillow, allowing side sleepers to rest deeply without feeling any foreign object in their ear canal.
Noise management is where this product truly shines. Unlike the open design of the A24, the OHAYO buds feature Adaptive Noise Cancellation paired with high-performance ENC microphones. This combination actively targets disruptive environmental sounds like partner snoring, traffic hum, and office background chatter. The result is a quiet personal sanctuary that allows for relaxation, study, or meditation even in chaotic environments. The absence of touch control is a deliberate design choice to prevent accidental volume jumps or track skips caused by tossing and turning during sleep. Instead, the user relies on app control or pre-set functions, ensuring the experience remains peaceful from start to finish.
Battery life is another area where the OHAYO buds excel for their intended purpose. They offer up to 12 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, which covers an entire night's sleep without needing a recharge. The charging case provides six additional charges, extending the total usage time to 72 hours. This is sufficient for multi-day travel or work office use where access to power might be limited. The Bluetooth 6.0 chip delivers rapid pairing and a stable connection up to 30 meters, though the effective range for sleep use is naturally shorter. With a 5mm dynamic driver and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20KHz, the audio quality is tuned for podcasts, audiobooks, white noise, and ASMR rather than high-fidelity music. If you are looking for the best noise cancelling kids headset for webinars or a reliable tool for adult focus sessions that require total silence, these buds deliver a secure fit that stays put all night long.

In my opinion, I would choose the Hmusic A24 for anyone whose primary daily activity involves attending webinars, working in an open office, or engaging in fitness activities. The ability to maintain a conversation with colleagues or stay aware of your surroundings while listening to audio is a non-negotiable feature for productivity. The lightweight clip-on design solves the fatigue issues common with in-ear monitors, and the dual-device switching streamlines workflow between phones and laptops. While the OHAYO Sleep Earbuds are superior for blocking out noise at night, the Hmusic A24 offers the versatility needed for a modern, connected lifestyle where you rarely want to be completely cut off from the world.
Yes, the Hmusic A24 is excellent for webinars due to its open-ear design that keeps you aware of your surroundings and its dual-device connection for seamless switching between phones and laptops. The OHAYO Sleep Earbuds are better suited for focused study or meditation where total silence is required.
No, the OHAYO Sleep Earbuds deliberately omit touch controls to prevent accidental changes in volume or tracks while you are sleeping. Control is managed via the companion app to ensure a peaceful, uninterrupted rest.
The OHAYO Sleep Earbuds are lighter at 2.7 grams per bud compared to the 5.4 grams of the Hmusic A24. However, the Hmusic A24's open-ring design may feel less intrusive for all-day daytime wear, whereas the OHAYO buds are optimized for overnight side sleeping.
The Hmusic A24 is specifically designed for glasses wearers with its clip-on open-ring shape that does not interfere with temple arms. The OHAYO Sleep Earbuds sit inside the ear canal and generally do not conflict with glasses either, but the open design of the A24 is often preferred for extended daytime use with eyewear.
